I've stayed here at BW Pontypool often and it's my go to choice in the area. Comfortable, clean, quiet (on car park side). Staff are lovely. Barrier entry and coded exit barrier - great for vehicle peace of mind. Prices are really competitive too.

This is a really special hotel in Caerleon. The lovely old priory has been beautifully restored, the rooms are gorgeous and there is completmentary tea, coffee, herbal teas and both still and sparkling water. The restaurant is outstanding and the staff were professional and friendly. We even had a free glass of Cava on arrival - a welcome treat!
This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few km of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s.
Occasional visits to Caerleon for business.
Pleasant village/town with a good history and an interesting Roman fortress/baths.
Recommend sitting outside of the Hanbury Arms on sunny day with the meandering river and diving birds.
