Really well stocked kitchen despite the size - perfect for self catering needs (even managed a full roast dinner). Views from the bedrooms better than the island observatory - spotted our first golden eagle here.

Calbost is a lovely private little village with a beautiful beach and loch and plenty of walking. Eagles regularly fly overhead. You really need a car to take you to places and you won’t be disappointed. The beaches are amazing. The local villages have lovely character and the sightseeing attractions like Calanish Stones and Butt of Lewis are spectacular.
