The breakfast was good. Plentiful yoghurts fruit and cereal. Wide selection of cooked breakfast options that were ordered by completing a tick box menu. Prompt, friendly waitress / waiter service.
Comfortable room. Dined in restaurant one evening, good menu selection, generous portions and food properly cooked and presented. Generally friendly staff throughout hotel. Spacious free car park.

The town itself isn't particularly interesting, but it has a lovely castle with attractive grounds - great for walking round and also entrance at times. Surrounding countryside is also attractive with easy access to the Wye Valley, Roman remains at Caerwent and the Brecon Beacons.

It is located next to Caldicot Castle and has an excellent pub on the opposite side of the road. The room was boutique size, more than adequate for us. The room and property were spotlessly clean.
