Callander is fantastic, we love it so much we keep going back. Very friendly people, wonderful location, great eating at the pubs and restaurants, and you have local shops to purchase what you need. My only thing is be mindeful of where your staying as if you need peace and quiet ask what time the music finishes....just saying. My favourite is the all year round Christmas shop....you've got to go it's amazing!!!!

Callander is lovely. Great shops for gifts & clothing. Puddingstone cafe food was great & reasonably priced. Nice restaurants to choose to eat in. Overall a very friendly place & relaxing to explore. Bracklinn falls is a must to see.

Lovely nice clean place plenty of lovely walks numerous places to eat .There's a bus service to take you to Stirling if you wish to go which runs frequently. Friendly people . Lovely walk to The Lade Inn nice place too stop for a coffee friendly staff .

Nice, very safe, well kept, small town with good shops & restaurants, not far from Stirling. Although Roman Camp Hotel is very secluded, it’s actually on the Main Street, on the banks of the river Teith.

Callander is a lovely little town with plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, take-aways and walks. The fisheries are beautiful, plenty of benches to sit at and walks around it. I had a fish supper from the Frying Dutchman which was superb, and the second night ate at The Riverside Inn which was equally as delicious. All very good prices. The neighbour upstairs was kind enough to come down and let us know where to look for the kingfishers on the opposite bank. There's a Coop supermarket a couple of minutes walk away and plenty of other options to eat in the main street. Great walks for dogs and people right out of the door. Callander is a good location for exploring the Trossachs and Loch Lomond area. The apartment was spotless, nicely decorated and warm. We enjoyed our stay!DeborahUnited Kingdom

Lots of extras in the kitchen made the stay perfect (really enjoyed the gin and ale).
