Very attractive old pub tastefully restored. Good selection of ales(Timothy Taylor's, Ghost Ship and Neck Oil).....shame we got there after it shut.

Great 'trad' breakfast. Very convenient for stop off en route north. Cafetiere coffee would have been a bonus.

Lovely, full of character, tastefully furnished, big room, comfortable huge bed, good shower, great breakfast choices, wonderful poached eggs! Welcoming cookies with teas and coffee in the bedroom. Pleasant roomy lounge area downstairs. Very nicely situated, good parking, short walk into Stamford.
