Not good when you are travelling onwards and have a time slot booked for Scottish National Trust.
The Kinloch Arms is a stunning 1800s-style building with many of it's original features. It has a large restaurant, free Wi-Fi and a bar, and is close to championship golf courses and the coast.

Big bright and clean hotel room with comfy beds and furniture (armchairs, table, chest of drawers and clothing rack). Kettle, tea, coffee and milk in the room made our stay more enjoyable. No noise from pub. The staff is brilliant. And the breakfast is really good with a great variety of options.

Quiet location, beds were comfy and very cosy. Hosts were lovely when we arrived but didn't actually see them again throughout stay.
