Hotel location, in beautiful Richmond, is superb. Staff were friendly, and the check-in process was simple. My single room was pretty small, but sufficient for one night’s stay. The downstairs pub was welcoming and had a very good selection of local beers. The first floor breakfast room was lovely, and made for a relaxed, enjoyable breakfast. There was a nice choice of breakfast options too, including full English and eggs Benedict. The ingredients were good quality, and it was all perfectly cooked.
Overlooking Richmond's cobbled market square, and the Norman castle, this charming Georgian hotel full of character and warmth is only 6.4 km from the A1. Free WiFi is available on-site.

We loved the situation of the hotel, we loved the fact that we had a room looking on to the Market Place and we really liked the liveliness of the hotel. It had a relaxed yet very busy atmosphere. The staff were great, calm, cool and friendly despite being very busy.

The breakfast was exceptional, freshly cooked to order, and very generous portions. The location was perfect - walking distance to lots of restaurants and pubs. Taxis and public transport were both available to visit other towns

House was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed.
The only downside was that there was just a breakfast bar with stools rather than a table and chairs which would have been comfier.
