Set 11 km from Bamburgh Castle, The Hideaway with hot tub features accommodation in Chathill with access to a hot tub.

I loved the fact it was set aside and quite secluded in the area, the sheep in the field as well. The hot tub was nice and relaxing as well. The fact it was 10 minutes from seahouses was definitely a plus as well

Doxford Hall Hotel And Spa, hotel in Chathill

Originally built in 1818, this beautifully restored country house is set in 10 acres of grounds, 15 minutes’ drive north of Alnwick.

The food in the restaurant was good. The grounds are pretty and the location is great for getting out around Northumberland. The swimming pool was nice too. It was nice that they put chocolates in the room and a plate saying happy birthday.

Excellent rural location in the centre of a range of visits and activities. A number of rural pubs (Tankersville Arms, Pack Horse Inn) within a few miles provided excellent food and ambience so not short of food and drink and things to do. Fitted our need perfectly.

Lots of lovely clean stretches of beach walks and interesting areas to visit. Cragside House was a fantastic day, give yourself the whole day to look around the house and grounds. Bamburgh Castle well worth a visit, need at least 4-5 hours and then can walk down from there to the beautiful beach.

We always go up to this area every year mostly Beadnell it's a fantastic area to explore the cabins are fine place to stop in but if you like peace and quiet don't book as the ball is a popular wedding venue which for us later on the night became quite noisy would have been better on a Sunday maybe . What you could not fault was the amazing breakfast at the joiners arms Ellsworth a vist

Excellent base for visiting Alnwick, Lindisfarne and walking parts of the England Coastal Path. Embleton Bay and a visit to Craster to buy locally sourced and smoked kippers, and call at the Jolly Fisherman are a must!

The Hotel is in an excellent Northumberland location; it is a most impressive building in lovely well kept grounds. Our room was large & very well appointed with a very spacious bathroom and such a good, large deep bath. Staff were most friendly & helpful. The breakfast was varied and of very good quality. We enjoyed our stay there, though perhaps a little more expensive than we would have liked.

Breakfast options at the nearby Joiners Arms were excellent. Full continental buffet with additional hot options made sure we weren't hungry all day. The main hotel is a fantastic wedding venue and the decorations, gardens and function rooms were lovely. The bed was very comfortable (apart from the winter season duvet which was hot). The bed linen, towels, robes and toiletries were excellent.

we stayed at Doxford Hotel and Spa as we were guests at a wedding at Doxford Barns. From Alan on checkin, to Laura in the restaurant and especially Brandon in the bar we were treated as special guests and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a swim, the jacuzzi, the quiet location, and a magnificent breakfast buffet. we hope to return and see more of Northumberland.
