What a great find this place was! We need to be in the area of Manchester airport quite frequently and this is so convenient, both for the airport and car hire and also great shopping and sightseeing nearby. Cheshire has so many great places to see-our find for this trip was the Anderton Boat Lift which was a great experience being lifted from the river to an upper canal in a boat via the lift. The unit was spotlessly clean, newly built, beautifully furnished and bigger than we expected. Well provisioned kitchen (thank you for the goodies), lovely shower and comfortable bed. Communication with the owner was excellent. Like the off street parking and we could see the car easily. Will be using this again.

On the banks of the River Mersey, the Waterside Hotel is just 10 minutes from Manchester airport. The hotel has a restaurant and leisure centre.

Staff really helpful and welcoming . The room was really clean and well appointed. Breakfast was good and swim in the pool lovely. Parking was plentiful so no problem getting a space. We will use it again

De Trafford By Greene King Inns is in Alderley village, just a 5-minute walk from Alderley Edge Train Station and about 5 miles from Manchester Airport. All bedrooms were refurbished in 2015.
