Nicely welcomed on arrival. Told lift not working, would we like to be transferred to a room on first floor instead of allocated room on second (yes please). Toaster in breakfast room not working properly, I had to be shown what to do. Interesting bread for toasting, not standard sliced.

Perfect location for a nearby wedding. I arrived with little time to spare, and the staff were super helpful - one checked me in and helped with my case, whilst a young lady rang for a taxi for me. Thank you!
The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable indeed! The en-suite was clean and well equipped and the shower was excellent.
Bottles of water were in the room alongside tea and coffee.
Breakfast was included however I didn't have it as I set off home early the next morning.
Highly recommend!

We booked to visit family and it was a good location for that. Beautiful views and a quiet and peaceful site, with hosts around in case you had questions. The only real issue we had was with getting in and out of the bath, which we are not used to. The bath is quite high, the taps got in the way and there is no rail to hold on to. That said, we took care and managed!
The rooms are comfortable and despite variable weather, it was sufficiently warm that we switched off the heating most of the time. Boiler was very easy to deal with.
Kitchen has everything you are likely to need. A small folding step would be useful for getting things out of the top cupboards, which are quite high, but I must concede that I'm quite short!
