Decor is bright and uplifting. Room lighting has controls for all moods. Lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Evening meal was first rate. Location just off the A1, so convenient when travelling to/from Scotland.

We had a fantastic stay at The White Swan. Everything was top rate, delightful room, great attentive staff and simply wonderful food. Amazing breakfasts, wonderful cake in the room each day - and truly special dinners, some of the best dishes that we have had for some time. A brilliant base to explore the wonders of the region.
