The room and communal area was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfy, we got a great night's sleep. Wandering around meeting the pigs and ducks was a lovely experience . Very close to the Gigha ferry. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I can't fault this accomodation, we'd stay again next time we're in the area.

Beautiful apartment set in a lovely garden. Very convenient for the Islay Ferry. We received a warm welcome and were very grateful to the owners for allowing us to move our booking forward a day when our original ferry was cancelled.

We liked the location. We noticed how clean and tidy the town was. We enjoyed the food even though it wasn't what we ordered. A fish was ordered but received chicken instead.

Host met us at the door. Gave us excellent instructions to the restaurant. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent: I had haggis and bacon, my colleague had full Scottish.
It was a very pleasant stay. Parking outside was not a problem.

Very peaceful cottage with a wood burning stove.
Very peaceful cottage with a wood burning stove. Being old and a little time-worn added to the character for me, but it might not be right for people looking for modern fittings and fantastically smooth wipe clean surfaces. Reliable wi-fi. Very comfy bed and seats. Car parking at the door. At the price point the cottage was excellent value. Twenty minutes walk to a deserted beach of soft white sand. Lots of islands, coastline and walking paths to explore. A day trip to Gigha was our highlight, we cycled up to the twin beaches, then had lunch at the Boathouse, where my wife had the biggest and best crab she has ever had. We would go back for sure.
