The location was really good for getting around Knighton and very near Knighton bus station, so convenient for travelling to other towns and villages.
The room and bed were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was good to know that guests could use the kitchen and fridge for self-catering, however I was not made aware of this clearly before arrival.

Location was excellent - superb drive through mid-Wales to the Marches.
Accommodation within the convert stables was superb, high quality and welcoming.
The inn has been equally refurbished to high standard and like the proprietors very welcoming.
The menu was gluten and dairy free and varied - awesome not to have to ask which choices could be gluten-free - hope the George retains this approach and achieve the accreditation.
The food was excellent.

The hosts were great, very friendly, talkative and very funny. They greeted us and showed us to the property and answered all our questions. The house is surrounded by their beautiful farmland and their rare breeds that live there. Views were excellent and the location perfect. Very comfortable and had everything you needed - even a tin of biscuits! We would definitely stay there again.

Gerry was very welcoming, as was her lovely cat. Barn House was a lovely place to stay, plenty of space, very clean. Breakfast was very good food; it included wonderful homemade bread, jam, marmalade and apple juice. One of those memorable places to stay, in a very good way. We are very keen to return.

Great communication from host Ying, who cooked amazing Thai food for us despite it being her night ‘off’. Spotless room, quiet and comfortable.
A Lovely little village on the Welsh border. Set in a beautiful rural setting.
Eating in one of the local pubs which was just round the corner, the other pub was not doing any food during my stay but both have loads of charm.

Clun is small enough to wander around but extends further than you originally think and has plenty going on. The castle ruin is a highlight, but so are the pubs and cafes too. Very easy to unwind and to switch off for a few days. The locals were extremely friendly and welcoming too.
The walks around Clun are stunning. Shropshire at it's best.

An authentic Shropshire/Rural town set in very pretty countryside. It is not as twee and monied as Ludlow so facilities are limited in terms of shopping and eating out but both the pubs are friendly and both serve very well kept local ales. There is also a charming little tea room.
