RE. location Q: Lovely location, and peaceful;
Also liked: Ease and flexibility of checking in and out; Bike storage available; Even though we never got to meet Grace (as she was away), I really appreciated her very friendly and helpful manner throughout all our communications. All was very good :)).

Such a cozy little lodge, wonderfully provisioned. Perfect for the little stay close to the wedding venue we attended. So helpful too!

The room was cosy, comfortable, and very clean.
A pretty spot, and great location for walks in the Welsh hills.
Good selection for breakfast - filled up on coisants, toast, cereal, strawberries, orange juice, and nice coffee.
Mat and Lynn were very friendly, attentive, and easy to contact on WhatsApp. Mat recommended walks - we saw Pistyll Rhaeadr (Britain's tallest single drop waterfall) and loved it, plus the drive there was very scenic.
Thank you!

Myself, partner and Labrador stayed at Evelyn’s retreat for three nights.
Perfect location for walking along the Llangollen canal.
Lovely picturesque area, along the historic route through Llangollen.
Great snacks, meals and drinks, and dog friendly at the corn mill in Llangollen, situated, next to the river Dee…
The cabin with hot tub at Evelyn’s retreat in a lovely spot, again perfect with our dog.
Lovely designed lodge, comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed.
Definitely would recommend…

Llangollen has a range of dog friendly restaurants. We ate at the m’Eating Place which we found to be homely and friendly , but we were spoiled for choice.

Lovely surrounding area with beautiful scenery and plenty of interesting places to visit.
The town itself is a bit run-down and doesn't have much to offer in the evening as regards dining. There are plenty of very good restaurants and pubs in the surrounding area and nearby villages though.

It was in a good location for roving the area and peaceful. There were plenty of eating options on foot or by car ranging from pub to chef.
The Llangollen railway line has a stop there.
If you are looking for a particular place the PO sorting office is very helpful.
Exceptional accommodation it a very pretty location. Mat & Lynne went overboard to make me feel welcome and valued, and I almost felt like family. Plenty of parking, with exceptional directions from Mat prior to my arrival. In room facilities were like a five star hotel (well, minus the robe and slippers. . . . lol). Tasty included breakfast offering, with varied choice on offer. Lynne's homemade marmalade was particularly tasty. Great local pub within 5 min walk.
A lovely property just barely on the edge of Corwen in the country, or so it felt! Gardens were beautiful and we took advantage of enjoying them in the evening with a beverage overlooking the gorgeous view, then again in the morning with coffee! Our rooms were in “the stable” and were very comfortable! Breakfast was served in the main house and quite delicious! We had only 1 night there, but wish we’d booked more!
Wow , this is a lovely homely style hotel , it didn’t feel like a hotel , it was so homely… its spotlessly clean , the bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up lol , the rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was brilliant too , I was really stuffed after it , the hostess was really lovely too , 1000% recommend this hotel , either as a base for further travels deeper into Wales , or just a chilled out weekend …
What a lovely little cottage! Just enough room for the three of us and the dog, a great location both to explore North Wales in the day and to relax and enjoy the stars in the evening. (We live in the city so forgotten just how dark the night could be) The cottage was well appointed, clean and nicely decorated. Amazing views.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. The rooms, whilst quirky and individual, were spotless and had every everything you'd need. But best of all, Carmen went out of her way to make us feel welcome. How often does a hotel allow you to bring in a takeaway and use their facilities, cutlery and crockery? The Crown did.
Location, location, location! A beautiful cottage away from everything, but still within minutes of the village of Cormen. Well located to visit the snowdonia national park, and the historic sites in the north of Wales. If quiet solitude is what you’re looking for, then this is the place.
Lovely property with lots of space we enjoyed our stay here did a good walk from Corwen to Liberty hall , Cynwyd and back to Corwen. Also went to Llangollen and walked to Pontcysyllte aqueduct. Had a good meal at the 'Old wives tails' Peter was very helpful with good advice on where to go
We had a lovely stay at Belinda's property. She was extremely welcoming and helpful. The facilities and location were second to none and we will definitely be revisiting in the future. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of extra goodies and the bathroom was like a five star hotel.
There was everything we loved about our stay at John's hotel. It was a pleasure to book a room in your hotel and we would like to visit you once again. Thank you for being our hosts.🌞❤️
A massive thank you to Carmen and Coco too ;) ❤️
Very spacious, well equipped, well planned out property, peaceful, relaxing.
We had a great weekend getaway.
Take the trip via steam train from Corwen, well worth the 5 min drive to the station.
Lots to do in and around the area.
Location was superb and the hotel was very comfortable and had beautiful grounds. The staff were very helpful and polite and the service excellent. The food was absolutely superb and exceeded all our expectations.
Lovely, accommodating hosts. Excellent breakfasts and good location with lovely views. Very clean hotel and good value for money. Very pet friendly. Corwen is also a really friendly little town.
The room was absolutely spotless!! The food was SUPERB!!! The staff were genuinely welcoming and friendly. We are definitely going to return, and we would HIGHLY recommend this wonderful hotel!!
