Lovely location which was near to the harbour and the building had a lot of character. The staff were lovely, and the food was delicious.

This was a beautiful location, in the heart of the countryside in an idyllic location, but close enough to drive to the beach in 5 mins. It has an open field in front down to the stream and ideal for dogs. Lovely cottage style cabin tucked into plants and trees giving you a feeling of privacy. Great Wifi and very clean and good communication from host. WAZE the map app took us directly to the property and a five minute drive later we were at a lovely bar / restaurant on a stunning Cornish beach. Lovely and clean too and well equipped with the basics.

The food was absolutely exceptional!! Would make the 3 hour drive from Gloucestershire just for the food alone if I could. Staff were very friendly, chatty and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. The room had a massive balcony with the most gorgeous view of widemouth Bay and a perfect view of the sun setting beyond the horizon.

It was warm and cosy with stunning views in a quiet location. We did a long walk (but well worth it along the coastal path and down into the valley) to Crackington Haven where we had a delicious meal at the Coombe Barton Inn. You need a car and sturdy walking boots. We will definately return - this is a little gem.

Crackington Haven is lovely ; it is a small village on the Cornish coast, but within easy driving distance of other places, e.g. Bude and Daymer Bay. We ate at the pub in the village/next to the sea (Coombe Barton Inn I think it's called) and the food was very nice. A popular past-time seemed to be sitting on the sea wall with a drink and watching the sun go down- beautiful sunsets.
The roads into/out of CH are VERY steep and quite narrow; useful to be aware of for drivers (parking is not cheap) and walkers. There will be a steep walk down into the village/seaside/bay and it will probably feel like an even steeper walk back up again !

This is one of the many beautiful coves around Cornwall.
This is one of the many beautiful coves around Cornwall. There is an excellent pub serving great food and with a good selection of drinks to suit any taste. There is also a cafe and shop where you can get the essentials for a day on the beach.
The views are beautiful and so typical of Cornish coves. Surfing is good and there are the usual beach surf life saving guards to hand. There are good facilities to hand and a warm welcome guaranteed.

We like Crackington.
We like Crackington. It is a small cove with a pebble and rock beach, but quite spectacular. It didn't get too busy whilst we were visiting, which suited us fine. The local pub is very good and we ate there several times. A good location for walkers with the coastal path nearby. There wasn't much there, but probably enough beach to keep smaller children happy and occupied. The routes to/from the beach (and pub), are very steep.
