Crantock is a beautiful place to visit and we will definitely be returning. A variety of beaches within a short distance, good local shops and pubs serving a variety of good meals and a wide variety of drinks.

Beautiful golden sandy beach, just breath taking!

Beautiful golden sandy beach, just breath taking! National Trust car park, which is free if you are a NT member, but it gets full quick & this was in September. Walk from the beach to the village was about 20 minutes. Bought a lovely steak pasty from the Jam Jar Kitchen & had a pint in the Albion Inn. Also went for a stroll around St. Carantoc Church graveyard & inside the church which was beautiful & well worth a visit

Crantock is a small Cornish village which is full of character and charm, it’s got a beautiful totally unspoilt Sandy beach and large sand dunes behind the beach, a large car park right near the beach which is free for national trust members but has a small charge otherwise Theres a lovely old pub called the Albion that serves amazing home cooked food , there was an excellent local band playing in the bar on the Friday evening we were there, the landlord and staff couldn’t have been more friendly if they’d tried My friends have lived in the village of crantock for over 30 years and it’s a fantastic friendly community

Crantock beach was absolutely beautiful and had something for everyone. There were huge surfing waves with plenty of life guards. There is also a very long estuary heading inland with amazing views. This offered safe swimming for those with younger children. There are toilets at the beach access point and a (limited) carpark. We gave up driving there (bun fight and queues for a space). The walk is tricky (along narrow lanes with no pavement which proved a night mare with our bouncy puppy). The coastal walk from the campsite was more pleasurable but either way its a long walk (about 40 minutes). The scenery was breathtaking. Sadly the weather was disappointing all week but that's not Crantock's fault! Newquay was a non-starter for parking so we only went once. Beaches were beautiful though but the town was tired and full of stags and hens. Not a relaxing place in my opinion but our teenagers loved it. We didn't eat out so cannot comment.

Came here every year as a child for our family holiday and consider it my favourite place on earth (and I’ve been all over the world several times over). Gorgeous soft sand beach, backed with sand dunes, national trust protected. Tiny authentic little village with a local store, post office and 2 pubs. Newquay 10 mins drive away. Everyone in the village super friendly. I’d recommend Crantock to anyone

Beautiful beach, lovely pubs and lots to see and do in the surrounding area too. Dairyland is great for kids and The Lost Garden's of Heligan were amazing. The Bowgie Inn has amazing views and great food too.
