It's a busy little town, plenty places to eat or get take away food, beautiful country walks, some specialist shops and lots of outdoor activities and attractions. It
has a great caravan park with lodges and glamping pods and fishing on the river. Caithness Glass has a viewing gallery to see glassblowing and is located at the visitor centre. Drummond Castle and gardens is a must, not far out of town at Muthill.

A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands.
A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands. It is close enough to the high mountains which many will be keen to explore. There were plenty of places to eat; I chose an Italian and was not disappointed. Crieff itself is small enough to be explore on foot; the Glen Turret distillery is a short 20-minute walk from the centre of the town.

Crieff itself is 4 out of 5.
Crieff itself is 4 out of 5. A number of boarded up shops (but this seems to be prevalent everywhere). However, on the plus side, traffic flows very well, the people are friendly and helpful and there is a good diverse range of shops available. Parking is easy. The greatest attribute is the beautful surrounding area. I'd recommend staying out of town to ge the best experience.

Small town with a ton or outside activities.
Small town with a ton or outside activities. Loads of hiking trails, nice golf course right next to town, most everything is in walking distance. The distillery has a beautiful bar but food is quite pricy. Ate at KBs Italian restaurant for dinner - delicious! Love the town and the residents!

We were in Crieff to take part in an organised classic car...
We were in Crieff to take part in an organised classic car rally from Perth to Glencoe and back. Crieff was perfectly placed for that. Set in beautiful Perthshire countryside with easy access to everywhere really. The town itself is pleasant.
Crieff Hydro is in an excellent location in Perthshire with lots of places to visit nearby. It is situated in beautiful grounds and we enjoyed walking around and admiring all the specular views. The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and friendly. The bedroom was lovely - spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the food - there was lots of choice and it was of a high standard. The best part of our weekend stay was visiting the Victorian baths - a perfect place to relax and unwind.
The breakfast was amazing! Ewelina offered such a choice with continental and Scottish breakfast, and machine espresso coffee too, perfectly cooked and arriving with a smile. The Covid safety measures felt very safe, with breakfast booked online. The location is perfect if you want to explore Crieff and its surrounding areas, and it’s a very short walk right into town. Ewelina was really friendly and available if you needed any help or had any questions.
Amazing lodge on outskirts of Crieff. Fantastic uninterrupted views from the decking. Fully equipped lodge, washing machine, TV and DVD, dishwasher, microwave, iron, wifi, hoover, coffee machine, BBQ. Deer and Hares in the field to watch. Paolo the owner was really helpful and friendly, great location for visiting the local area, easy to reach as far as loch lomond, Stirling, Perth, Falkirk, Pitlochry- the list is endless, highly recommended
We loved the location and the lodge was so cosy and comfortable for us all. Spectacular views of the loch and the mountains with their dusting of snow made it special.
The lodge was very well equipped had plenty of dishes, glasses and very comfy bedding. Beautiful Perthshire water on tap.
Hot tub maintained every day by owner.
The dog park was an added bonus for 2 lively labradors.
We will be back.
Thanks Wallace
We were given a complimentary upgrade and the room was lovely. One morning we left very early to go to the Open golf at St Andrews and were provided with a take away breakfast for our journey. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent every other day we were there. Car parking is available, and you can easily walk into the town centre.
We would recommend this B&B and we will definitely return.
Quaint property with great facilities and welcoming host. Dining kitchen is very well equipped. Both bedrooms are en suite plus there’s an additional toilet and sink in utility room. Nice view of the hills from the lounge. Crieff is a good location for exploring Perthshire and this apartment provides a comfortable base from which to enjoy the area.
Lovely property beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and could not have done more to ensure that we had a wonderful time. Breakfast was amazing and was all freshly prepared to order. Certainly would recommend and would not hesitate in returning should we be back in the area.
There is not one thing that could have been better with our stay @ Fir Tree. Without question we’d stay there again. The walking in the area was exceptional. The meals and the Italian restaurant in-town and modern restaurant on the square superb!
Beautiful lodge. Location and the farm onsite perfect for my little one. Hosts fabulous left us a chocolate cake and bread and a little farm pack on arrival. It was only a 10 min drive
from Crieff hydro also.
everything was perfect. the flat was spotless and very comfortable. even washing up was a pleasure with the neighbours doves to watch come and go.
it’s a perfect location to visit the area.
The hotel was situated centrally in Crieff, in the town centre, and close to the venue of the wedding we were attending. The dinner in the evening was good, with high quality steaks.
The property is right in Crieff with a very nice pub just across the street. Because Crieff is central to many special Scottish areas it made this place a great base to start from.
Everything was perfect:the back garden, the comfortable bed, the attentive and gracious staff, the relaxed atmosphere. This was the best hotel experience in a long time.
Brilliant stay - staff are amazing. Loved the room with the comfy bed in the eco-lodge. Great to hire bikes to explore Perthshire area. The shop was great too.
