There was nothing that I particularily liked, the room was adequate, reasonably clean and bright with unmarked white painted walls. I was able to sleep relatively well.

The studio was really well thought out with everything you need available. Lovely big comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, great bathroom and the added bonus of your own outside patio.
Cropton Village has no shop so transport is essential.
Cropton Village has no shop so transport is essential. The nearest shops are in Pickering, where there is a Lidl and a Co-op. There is a garage with a small Spar shop on the road into Pickering.
The area is excellent for walking with several footpaths virtually from the door.
The New Inn is about 50 yards from the property, serves good food and beers from it's own on-site brewery, which is also open to the public.
The Blacksmith's Arms in Lastingham (3 miles) and The Coach House in Rosedale Abbey (5 miles) serve excellent food daily.
