Cullen is a bustling village with cafes, mini-market, 3 pubs etc. The one nearest to the property is "The Royal Oak" which serves excellent meals all day. Try the Cullen Skink' many will know of it, just as many will not so for those, it is a haddock (I think) based soup with potatoes --- superb. In Cullen ,Linda's fish and chips are 11/10 and the Ice cream shop gets the same rating Outstanding sandy beaches and lovely walks long short or whatever you want to make of them and paddle boards in the harbour the list of amenities seems endless.

Lovely town, a great base for exploring the coast and all...
Lovely town, a great base for exploring the coast and all it's delightful little harbours and beaches.
Nice shops too!
Rockpool cafe was great for coffee and we had excellent soup there for lunch one day. My other half had the Cullen Skink which was reportedly delicious!
If considering the Seafield Arms hotel for bar food/dinner it would be best to book in advance, it seems very busy!
This was a return visit to the hotel, having been several times previously, but after many years. There had been much new building, extensions and changes since. The restaurants both served good food which we enjoyed. We didn't pay extra to eat breakfast there, as I felt we were paying enough for just the room. A comfortable bed, although it didn't seem like the king size we had expected. Nice modern shower room and windows you could open for fresh air.
The location was just perfect, Cullen is a lovely village.
The room was just right, very clean and everything we needed. The bathroom was huge!
The breakfast was delicious, good ingredients and perfect poached eggs.
Best part of our stay was Paula, the owner. She was so helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for her. Her son even phoned the local hotel, which was excellent, to book a table for us for dinner.
A perfect location. Great views of Cullen Bay, the viaduct and the harbour, close to local amenities - co-op not far away, warm and cosy, everything we needed in our holiday home. Games and books for evening entertainment. We were able to park close by to the property. Enjoyed visiting the costal villages. There are 2 viewing windows at Deans factory in Huntly if you like crumbly shortbread.
Beautiful location in northern Scotland. Easy walk to the beach and close drive to Elgin, Lossiemouth, whisky tours and several local walks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. We stopped for two nights on a drive around the NE of Scotland and were very pleased. Would definitely stay again.
My family and I had a wonderful stay in Cullen. This is a gorgeous seaside town, and an excellent base to exlore the surrounding area.
The cottage was comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped and maintained. The beds were all super comfortable.
We contacted the owners with a query,, they were quick and friendly in their reply.
The place was spotless and furnished to a high quality. Very central location in Cullen with everything pretty much on the doorstep. Chris was very responsive to any queries we had. Had an amazing time and have booked again for next year. Couldn't fault it!

the bedroom was very standard but extremely comfortable. staff were pleasant and helpful overall I would stay here again.
The staff was very welcoming. We arrived around kitchen closing time and they were kind enough to help us with dinner & drinks. The hotel was on par with the surrounding scenery.
Location was lovely and views from hotel were wonderful. The food in the restaurant was great, as was the breakfast.
The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you.
Fabulously appointed apartment in Cullen. Hosts had many above and beyond extras which made a difference. Bread, milk, bagged ice and some other goodies all provided.
