Cullipool is ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday for those who enjoy walking, being close to nature, and appreciate beautiful scenery. The Atlantic Island Centre is worth a visit and the homemade jam sold in the local shop is very tasty.

    Really friendly staff and locals.

Really friendly staff and locals. The owner of the local shop is really lovely also and the neighbouring properties. Absolutely astounding views, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something quiet and peaceful, the ferry is regular and open at night in case of emergencies. Just a really lovely place. We got the ferry across to the mainland and visited the local towns. We mainly done self catering but stopped at various lovely cafes and went on boat tours around the islands.

A small former slate workers community of old cottages , an excellent new Community Building - the Atlantic Centre - with cafe ,restaurant, crafts, book shop, small art gallery with touring exhibitions and a splendid local museum. A vibrant local community, memorable archaeological duns and brochs, spectacular views, sea life' otters, seals, the occasional Sea Eagle and Luing cattle.
