Great location for visiting family and the local theatre. The Black Bull pub regulars and staff were friendly, and the restaurant (Coorie Inn) served lovely food in a pleasant setting with attentive staff. Room, bar, and restaurant were all great value for money.
Check-in was simple and clearly communicated.

I liked that it was a animal friendly hotel. We had a good time in the hotel.
I like the staff there .
I like the room.
I like the cleaning there
Staff were very helpful there with booking and taxi there.
There were good vegetarian food on restaurants near by hotel.
Have stayed here several times. Location and fact it’s pet friendly suits my needs. Staff are always amazing. Friendly and helpful. Recent visit disappointing. Room not as comfort as I remembered and breakfast definitely not as good as before.
Coffee stations not working or needing replenished.
Orange juice dispenser needed replenished.
Sausage/bacon platters at buffet needed replenished at different times.
Embarrassing having yo ask staff about- coffee station, orange juice, sausage platter, bacon platter.
Will always go back as location and pet friendly is perfect, but having to pay £20 for pet should ensure client gets same Hilton comfort as other guests.
Perhaps more staff in kitchen would ensure quality Hilton breakfast.
Full praise to Westerwood Staff.. They are the reason I would return.

This is a very strange town.
This is a very strange town. I think we stayed in the old part. Small, only 2 not very nice looking restaurants and some take aways. To get to the new part you need to drive as we could not find any proper roads unless you want to go past a dual carriageway. 30 minute walk anyway. The new part of town is even worse than the old part, no real city centre, many restaurant chains.
Went to a park nearby, that was OK.

Its a quiet central location with Edinburgh Sterling to the East - Glasgow and the Trossachs to the West and excellent road links.
Good food at The Black Bull in the Village.
Book parking at attractions in advance as they can be busy.

I would recommend visiting Cumbernauld Village but, unless you enjoy large shopping malls, not the Town Centre, a 1950s 'New Town'.
The Village was the original part and the Town that grew from it was carefully planned with lots of green spaces. It could have been more enjoyable if there wasn't so much decay. It doesn't look as though money is spent on repairing and reviving what must have been a massive improvement on the back streets of Glasgow.
Bus service no. 37X to Falkirk takes you directly back to Cumbernauld Village - 2 miles away from the Town Centre.

We were really disappointed with the standard of cleanliness. The shower and shower head were dirty. The doorway was littered with cigarette ends. We were in 4 rooms before the room w3 we given was suitable. Not sure how this fits with COVID guidelines

Terrible hygiene.
Terrible hygiene. No water anywhere for 4 hours was turned off so the therapists treating us and the kitchen staff servicing us lunch had no water to wash there hands and given the current predicament it's not on!! Hotel treated a disabled customer terribly. No lift for her or my disabled mother. No assistance. Bad management that wanted to take no responsibility for what was all going wrong. PUBIC hair in Bath on arrival to room. Thick with dust. Breakfast food was terrible cold and overcooked clearly took us 50 mins to be served even though there was seemingly 3 chefs and only 4 tables of people there. Absolutely shocking service and below standard
We went over to concert booked the black bull, I taught it was 1.1 mile from city, it was half hour on bus or train to get to the village, but it worked out well, I didn't want leave the village the people and folks that lived around area were so nice,, place we stayed i loved it staff were very nice and helpful, I would have loving to stay, so quite come an go as u please, 10 🌟 for sure 🙂🙂 the beds were so comfy room was big enough also for room we had awesome def come back to stay here again 😀 ❤
Irene - the host - was so thoughtful and really helped us out with everything we needed. Even when the world conspired against her (wifi dropout / water pressure issues in the area) she went above and beyond to make sure our stay wasn't impacted.
A truly stunning place in the countryside, but close enough to edinbrough / glasgow / stirling for a lovely Scotland break!
The room was spacious and clean, bathroom was nice and the shower was strong so all in all the room was great. We had dinner and breakfast and both were good. Dinner had just enough choice on the menu for everyone and the food was delicious. The breakfast was excellent and nice to see square sausages :-).
The pool spa area is nice too.
Katie's house was so conveniently located; close to shops for necessitis and some nice restaurants, and then Glasgow and Edinburgh. Lovely location for numerous day trips to scenic and beautiful places of interest. The house was clean, well maintained and very comfortable with all the amenities required to make it a 'home from home'.
Room was spacious with both a bath and big shower. Comfy bed. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Leisure facilities were fantastic jacuzzi especially! Loved our stay here after a day at Blair Drummond safari park. Would highly recommended this hotel! Free tasty cookies on arrival also not a bad word to say about our stay.
bed was comfortable, room was dated, food nice but was told when i should go for dinner (18:30), breakfast was nice and fresh. waiter at breakfast could be more cheerful and friendly. ladies working on the evening in the dining area were spot on.
The location is perfect for day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sterling, Loch Lomond. Very close to Falkrik wheel and the kelpies. The cottage was super clean, luxurious and maintained very well. Perfect stay for a summer
The hotel for the price is perfect. If you travel by car it has a big parking so you don't have to worry about it. They offer breakfast which is nice, since there aren't many restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean.
All good value with great service. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. It’s fifth time stayed even spent 1st night of our marriage at hotel with friends and family
Location was perfect for us, in between Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Very friendly staff and very friendly patrons so much so we were able to stay an extra day.
