The hotel is situated in a lovely quiet village opposite the village green, amoungst a number of houses of a similar age.
It is very welcoming, light and airy, with the staff very polite and attentive.
The food was excellent, with a varied fresh menu with specials. Breakfast was also excellent, prompt and very tasty and of good quality; You order what you would like and at what time before you go to bed.
The room was very clean and tidy, and in the case of the room I was in, the bathroom was huge (1.5 times the size of the bedroom), with an excellent walk in shower cubicle and a large freestanding roll-top bath.

Our hosts were excellent. Keen to understand our interests and provide great local information. The small room suited our budget. Bathroom and facilities were clean and comfortable. Lovely conservatory for breakfast.

This was the second time of staying here, and I'm sure won't be the last. Tina is a warm, welcoming and lovely host who cooks an absolutely fabulous breakfast to boot! My sister and I shared the twin room and our elderly parents, who hadn't been before, stayed in the ground floor annexe, which perfectly fit their more limited mobility needs. The accommodation is immaculate with tea & coffee facilities provided, very comfortable beds and a lovely outlook. We were very lucky to have glorious weather so enjoyed our brekkie al fresco in the sunshine :) With family friends living in a neighbouring village this will be our first choice for whenever we visit the area - highly recommended!
