Great little B&B, nicely converted old school. The owners have done a first class job on the renovation.

Tŷ Twt was everything we expected it to be - excellent location in the countryside, peaceful and secluded but only a 15 minute drive to the quaint town of Newcastle Emlyn and a 30 minute drive to Cardigan, 40 minutes to Folly Farm.
The cabin was absolutely spotless, well equipped and fresh eggs on arrival which was lovely. Loads of space outside for children to play and run free, plenty of books and puzzles as there’s no tv (not a bad thing). BBQ area and fire pit were great - I would advise to bring your own disposable/portable bbq’s, charcoal and lighter/matches as these are not kept in the cabin.
The compost toilet was absolutely fine, easy to use and not as bad as what I’ve read in previous reviews.
We had the best stay, my 5 year old absolutely loved it, we will be definitely be back, only for longer next time ☺️
The Lamb of Rhos, a property with a bar, is set in Llandysul, 21 km from Carmarthen Castle, 22 km from Cilgerran Castle, as well as 24 km from Newcastle Emlyn Castle.
Was a great place to stay very spacious and comfortable.
Was a great place to stay very spacious and comfortable. It did lack a few touches that would have made it perfect e.g soap in bathroom and tea and coffee in kitchen and even d at one condiments which are usually seen in self catering cottages. But overall a nice stay would be back great value for money.

It was an idea location for me near Llandysul, Carmarthen and Capel Dewi. I ate at the B&B (Afon Duad) and the food was unbeatable. High quality, homemade and plenty of it. Beautiful scenery. Worth having a car as the public transport is hit and miss

Lovely and breakfast was exceptional. Had a great selection of local gin at the bar.
Very friendly welcoming hosts .
My only negative was a small one and a personal one regarding the bed . A memory foam topper would be great . Other than that a great place and would recommend as value for money and well placed for sightseeing

This is a public house in a building dating from the 1700's so the accommodation is constrained by this. The purpose of the stay was bed and breakfast only due to visiting relatives elsewhere and give the grand-daughters a taste of something traditional. This is a village with some history and gives a flavour of life in the middle of South Wales. If you have a taste for old fashioned hospitality rather than easy-to-please modern plastic then this is a good place.
