We were two families with 3 small kids and it was a great experience. We got the tents setup in the room with board games etc. in the room which the kids enjoyed thoroughly. There was kitchen with oven and microwave with all the utensils. Overall, excellent stay and location was terrific with lots of restaurants and bars just on the walk down.

I stay at the marriots for work often and rarely get chance to bring partner and kids. We chose this hotel as we had an event in Loughborough. It was wonderful. Spa was just right size. Spotlessly clean. Easy changing rooms for bringing my 8 year old son in with me - seperate adult only area and a cubicle for him to hide behind! Pool lovely temp, never overcrowded. Staff all amazing from reception, to spa, to dining room.
The hotel mentions the amount of walking. They are not exaggerating. The walking is NOT for the immobile, its like Eschers Relativity! If you have mobility issues, call ahead, make the hotel very very aware. We managed, even with me being 25weeks pregnant but we wouldn't have managed the walk from the room to the pool with a pram, you are up and down stairs alot. Again the hotel are very clear about this but do not underestimate their transparency! Food amazing as always.

Comfortable and everything you needed as well as a nice patio area. From the main road you do wonder but you step through the gates into a cloistered court yard and it is lovely. The hosts are also very engaging and accommodating and nothing it to much trouble. If Adrian offers you home made bread take him on it as its really nice!
