Diss has no real attractions for the casual visitor but you could use it as a base to visit Norfolk and Suffolk and the Broads. There is a mainline railway station to take you to Norwich, Ipswich and London

We hadn't gone on this holiday just for Diss. Each of the small towns etc offered a different aspect to our holiday. Diss is about 8 miles away and is worth visiting. There is a range of shops and a beautiful mere area.

It was one of the utmost best stays I had in recent times. Very friendly, lovely couple running the farm / B&B. They enjoy to show one around, showing the animals. They are making an effort to fullfil extra requests if possible. Thank you Phil and Stacey! Cheers, Dag from Cologne / Germany

Diss has a good selection of shops and eating places. There is a large lake called the Mere you can walk round with a Boardwalk at one end. We stayed at the park Hotel which was a short walk from the town centre.

If you are visiting this town be aware, no food after 7.30 on a Sunday and most pubs close at 9pm on a Sunday, caught us out completely as we had been out all day and thought we would be able to eat in the evening. but no chance, some even close on a saturday night at 10pm, I thought we had no back to the dark ages, would not recommend staying here at all
