Wow!! What an amazing hidden gem.The surroundings are breathtaking and the shepherds hut is immaculate. The hut is literally in the middle of nowhere and so relaxing and cosy. Was amazing sitting in the hot tub being able to switch off from everything.

First of all the host Vince was a delightful character who welcomed us to Lizzie’s Cottage with a big smile and then went on to show us the Cottages workings and also shared the history from the past to present . The cottage itself was very tastefully designed old meeting new from the fantastic original fireplace to the modern furnishings thoughout. Outside the hot tub, seating/dining area and to top it off the views of the Mourne Mountains made the experience complete. We will be sharing our relaxing experience and recommending Lizzie’s Cottage to friends and family.
