The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and helpful, and a real credit to the establishment. The location is stunning, the rooms are lovely with excellent facilities, and the food served is incredible. The Whisky bar and the staffs knowledge of such is incredible too.

We (she called us Angel & Wolf) had a wonderful stay at Maureen's place. Maureen is super nice. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom and we slept very well. Parking space is available. Breakfast was very good and prepared with love. She is a lovely lady with a witty sense of humour and great conversation without being pushy.

Not great choice of pubs- More restaurant type or attached to a hotel but weather good so enjoyed walking to them. Managed to get only taxi in village back to hotel (10 min walk to other end) which only cost £6.50 but book in advance!!

I would recommend just stopping for lunch in Drumnadrochit, the hotels are well overpriced and all cashing in on the monster theme. We were even charged £16,50 for a wine and a beer in one of the hotels down the road where we were thinking of going for dinner. A real rip off.DorothySpain - 10Scored 10

Both were very helpful. Our car broke down just as we checked out & they handed over our room keys back to us so we could use the room while the car got fixed. Jamie also dropped us to Urquhart Castle for our tour. They kept an eye out for the repairman to get our car done & let us know when they came. They helped us on a couple of things during our stay including accommodating us for an additional night. The property was excellent and the breakfasts that were cooked to order were delicious. The B&B is well positioned in the center of Scotland near Loch Ness making for easy access to the countryside in all directions. My wife and I would highly recommend Woodlands B&B to anyone traveling to Scotland.

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was lovely and as we were on our honeymoon, the team gave us celebratory drinks. Everyone was so attentive and apologetic about the inconvenience of the flood, but it didn't hinder our stay. Would definitely recommend the Clansman.
