The stay here was brilliant. It had everything that we needed for our 4 night stay. It was really quiet at night and Tina and Simon helped us out with information and recommended places to go. We stayed in Lockerbie as we went to a wedding in Springkell. It was about 20 minutes drive away so is really easy to reach.

Nice hotel was really excited about the room when we first went in we were in room 105 a lovely suite I went to open a window as it was really warm and I had to catch a pain of glass from falling onto the patio area my wife went to get a member of staff to make sure they knew it was broken a member of staff and the manager came up we got a complimentary drink and then offered another room further up in the hotel the room wasn’t as fancy but we accepted the change although it spoiled the rest of the stay for my wife
With a beautiful rural setting in the spectacular Scottish countryside, this small, family-run hotel is halfway between Lockerbie and Gretna Green, just off the A74(M).

Everything, from check-in to departure. Our host was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is filled with historic charm and our room was very spacious and bright with a large window looking out over the grounds. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean and well maintained. The meals provided at the hotel restaurant were amazing.
