Breakfast was delicious with Richard's own honey, home-made jam and local eggs. He was even able to offer decaff tea :) The bed was very comfortable with lovely bedding. The road by the cottage was very quiet so I had an excellent night's sleep. Richard was a great host all round, thank you.

The room was beautiful 😍 The room had a fan which I was super glad of as it was a hot day. Clean, airy, very nice bathroom. Good shower 🚿 very quiet location. Tony and Wendy are very hospitable, very friendly hosts. We received a very warm welcome. Even though the pub was closed, the owner immediately said she'd make us dinner and we could get drinks whenever we were ready. Dinner was lovely. Our room was a very good size, with a large bathroom that had an amazing shower. Everything was clearly lovingly decorated. We had a good choice of items for a continental breakfast the next morning. We'll gladly return here!
