This little gem of a place was perfect for us, it had everything you required for a stay in the area. It was quiet grest facilities and if you had forgotten anything the town had it all, in particular we liked the local baker's, fantastic bread. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay at Hazelwood Farm. Annette looked after us very well offering us tea and cakes on our arrival and a hearty breakfast in the mornings. The room was lovely and clean, the bed really comfy. Hope to return in the future.

I'm always a little torn with regard to giving reviews when we stay somewhere nice as it just encourages more people to stay then we can't get a room when we want one! In this case, however, the place was so good, I couldn't keep quiet....
The staff were all excellent - friendly, polite and accommodating.
The room wasn't massive but was very comfortable and well equipped.
The bar was great - small and traditional.
The beer was excellent and well kept and the food was outstanding.
I cannot recommend the Stapylton highly enough and will definitely be returning.
One tip - the restaurant is soooooo popular that I would recommend booking in advance....

Easingwold is a small Market town that is alive and lovingly cared for- flowers and tubs, nice variety of shops, coffee shops, pubs, once weekly market and very friendly people It is also close to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside that is filled with history and York is a short distance away. We had a lovely stay here. Large village/small town. Lots of amenities. Tourist information centre staff very helpful. Ideal for walking the surrounding countryside. Market, shops, pubs, even a fish and chip van on a Friday.

Nice little town which had a market on the Friday and artisan market on the Saturday (first Saturday of the month). Nice walks nearby eg from Kilburn and handy for visiting Thirsk, Helmsley, White Horse etc. Various pubs and cafes within an easy walk from Little Ings as well as many not far away.

Look at Easingwold on Google Streetview - you can see that it is a beautiful village/small town. The Tourist Info is friendly and has details of local walks. Wonderful Yorkshire cheeses at the local market! A few good pubs/hotels for drinks at good prices, why not try them all?

It is a self contained building, off the main road with Private Parking, in the lovely typically Yorkshire town of Easingwold. The owners, Sheila and Mark, are the most incredible hosts. There is nothing that is too much trouble, Mark, upon seeing that we were both a bit ancient, even took our luggage up to our room for us.
