The young staff were excellent - friendly and helpful despite a number of issues going on with the pub cellar! The room was fine and definitely what was required after a long day's walk on the Ridgeway path. The food was good.

Lovely country setting , great room with little enclosed space for dog . Food is fantastic too
Having never stayed in the area or hotel before its always a risk. However beautiful location and setting and ideal for A34. This hotel felt relaxing and welcoming. The food was amazing, i fully recommend the salt and pepper squid. The best ive had, i will be returning for the food. Host and Staff were really friendly. I recommend for solo travellers.
Jubilee weekend, pub garden, live music, musician had a fab voice, it was really nice. Dog friendly. Some annoying children racing around and screaming with drunkish parents not bothering - not the hotel's fault though. Food was good. Room was nice, would have preferred not to be upstairs as I travelled with a pup.
Loved the way the staff treats the guests. Very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are exceptionally clean. Food was absolutely delicious (we had dinner at the hotel restaurant). Great location for our purposes
