Lovely sea front with no shops on the actual front. Great eating area on Carlisle Road. Disappointed that the train was supposed to be running along the prom but wasn't. Great hop on-hop off bus option.

We had two days in Eastbourne. We went specifically to go to The Towner Art Galery which is a great space. We also took a sight seeing bus which took us around the coast. You can hop on and off and walk and get back on again. Walkig along the prom and onto the pier was great. We ate in a fabulous fish and chip restaurant called the holiday Inn near the Towner. Great value for money..

    A traditional British seaside resort.

A traditional British seaside resort. We stay at hotels on the seafront so terrific views. Easy walking to pier, theatres and bandstand. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. In my view, not Ideal for swimming, but I'm old. Bistro Pierre is a good place to eat, better and cheaper than the hotels. Downside for those with mobility issues is that there are no buses along the seafront south of the pier.

Had a wonderful time at this property, right on seafront by pier. Eastbourne is an adorable seaside town with clean and beautifully maintained gardens. Staff were attentive, breakfast good variety. Hotel is a bit dated but functional, liked the covered area at front. Hotel car park at rear is a necessity as little available parking by meters on seafront. Overall very good value.

This is a lovely guesthouse in Eastbourne. It is walking distance to restaurants and cafes. The room is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. My host provided helpful information about the area, including a hike along the Seven Sisters. They offer a number of breakfast choices. I went with the full English breakfast, which was delicious and very filling.

I would highly recommend Atlanta for anyone wanting to stay in Eastbourne. Its right on the seafront a few minutes walk from the pier, breakfast was fresh, hot & very tasty. I stayed on my own in a single room which had been recently refurbished to a high standard & I felt very safe staying here as a solo female traveller. The hosts are lovely & welcoming!

The hotel is easy to find and the location right on the seafront and near the pier and town centre is excellent. The room was clean and a good size. The hotel allows dogs for a small surcharge.
