Nice, clean well maintained public areas.
Nice, clean well maintained public areas. Could do with more toilets. Good restaurants and bars, and a nice, if pebbly beach which was clean. Excellent long promenade, paved all the way with a fun looking pier facility.

We had two days in Eastbourne.
We had two days in Eastbourne. We went specifically to go to The Towner Art Galery which is a great space. We also took a sight seeing bus which took us around the coast. You can hop on and off and walk and get back on again. Walkig along the prom and onto the pier was great. We ate in a fabulous fish and chip restaurant called the holiday Inn near the Towner. Great value for money..

I was only there for work so my comments arent very helpful. I did however run the entire length of the prom and back and can vouch for it being beautiful even with the sewage treatment plant at one end!

A traditional British seaside resort.
A traditional British seaside resort. We stay at hotels on the seafront so terrific views. Easy walking to pier, theatres and bandstand. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. In my view, not Ideal for swimming, but I'm old. Bistro Pierre is a good place to eat, better and cheaper than the hotels.
Downside for those with mobility issues is that there are no buses along the seafront south of the pier.
The guy who dealt with us could not have been nicer,he was welcoming, informative and very polite. The hotel is charming and in a great location right at the seafront and just a few minutes walk to the shops and train station. We had full English breakfast which was lovely and good value. The room we stayed in was small but satisfactory for a couple of nights stay ,if I was staying longer I would book a larger room . Ample tea, coffee toiletries etc, hairdryer, iron and fan .Comfortable open seating areas on the ground floor and a small bar.
Excellent location both in relation to the seafront and the town centre. Good proximity to transport links if you don't have a car and want to travel further afield. The room was very comfortable and had everything needed for a self-catering stay if that's what you prefer. Nice, large, firm double bed and great natural light, overlooking a pleasant green space behind the hotel. We did manage to set the fire alarm off whilst toasting waffles (well, burning them, actually), so it was good to see everything worked!
excellent location right on the seafront, had a single room with a balcony with sea view which was great. Had bath sheets in the bathroom which was a lovely bonus. Breakfast was great, table service served without being rushed such a nice change from a buffet. Room clean and staff very polite, a housekeeper commented to me without being prompted "it is a lovely place to work" A great ambiance to the hotel. A lovely stay
Excellent location very near the pier, seafront and town centre. We had a Seaview room overlooking the pier. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. This is a basic hotel, so no frills, but a hairdryer was provided on request and there was tea/ coffee facilities. Beds were clean and comfortable and the room was serviced daily. A pleasant stay.
Nice quiet location in a residential road with plenty of driveway parking. 3 minute walk to a nice quiet beach , 10 minute walk to local food shops and a 20/25 minute walk along the seafront to Eastbourne Pier and town centre bars , eateries etc.
Apartment spotlessly clean with modern decor. Everything you needed for your stay .
Booked two rooms for an overnight night stay to visit relatives and received a warm welcome from the owners, had a good nights sleep and a nice breakfast in the morning. The hotel is located near the seafront and has its own car park which is a bonus in Eastbourne. The rooms were a good size, clean and warm so I would recommend.
The hotel was very clean and the room had a big bed with crisp linen. Lovely powerful shower. Enjoyed the sea view. Good breakfast choices. We visited Eastbourne to watch the tennis and walked there from the hotel along the front. Took about 25 minutes but a pleasant walk. Met the owner of the hotel who was customer friendly.
I had read a few reviews before visiting the Burlington so it was just about what I expected. A beautiful old fashioned hotel on a British seafront. It's clean and friendly, the food is good and the atmosphere fairly welcoming. A little run down but that doesn't get in the way. Eastbourne is lovely.
Location is literally few hundred yards from Eastbourne
Pier and 5 minutes from town centre . Couldn't be better.
Rooms are spotless and the owner / staff were very
helpful . Internet connection was excellent . Lots of options to eat within 3 minutes of the hotel .
Best bargain in Eastbourne !
The location is just at the seafront, however it's extremely difficult to get a parking space, and if you find one it's paid.
There is a pub straight underneath the hotel, very good beer and professional staff.
The room was small but had everything what is needed for the stay.
I liked it.
The View is a modern hotel at the seafront. It has all the amenities that you would expect to find in a hotel of this category and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent and - for a change - was served in spacious dining area.
The hotel is well positioned for the seafront, and a reasonable walk to the town centre. The staff seemed helpful when we saw them, which was not that often as they were always busy. We got a big, light and airy room with windows on two sides overlooking the theatre.
Highly recommended hotel.Excellent location:near the town centre and the seafront. The apartment had everything we need.Staff were very accommodating and always smiling.Place was clean and spacious.Didn’t hear any noise from outside.
The hotel is very clean and nice.Near to the beach, around 50m. Staff was very helpful. The room was with sea view and small area with tv. Breakfast ( buffet) was modest but delisious. It was a cery pleasant stay.
This is a lovely two-bedroom apartment with a subtle view over the Eastbourne seafront.
Comfortable beds, two bathrooms, first floor but no stairs to climb, your own parking spot - what more could you want.
Very good location for Eastbourne town centre, the seafront and Devonshire Park. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Decent breakfast. Clean and relatively inexpensive single room.
Our room was awful. Dirty towels. The shower needed to be hand held. £200 sterling for a room that was filthy and a shower that didn’t work. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in this hotel.
