Everything. Kes and her staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. The units were spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and happy. We stayed at 7 venues during the month we spent in the UK. The Horse and Groom was by far the best. Indeed, we were so comfy that we just stayed on in the Cotswolds for the remainder of our vacation instead of travelling on to Ireland and Wales as planned. We will be back. .
Set in the Cotswold market town of Tetbury, this charming town house dates back to 1535 and boasts a restaurant with views of the walled garden and fountain.

Charming hotel and staff, atmospheric bar and extremely comfortable beds. It was treat for my friends 60th birthday and she loved everything about the hotel. Beautiful gardens and easy parking too. Wonderful breakfast.
Could have done with breakfast finishing at say 9.45/10 , 9.30 meant we had to move swiftly after a night out!

Staff was very courteous. Our dog was made welcome. Altogether a very good stay.

Truly friendly staff, made us feel very welcome. Whole hotel imaginatively decorated - a combination of tasteful quirkyness. Food was beautifully presented and delicious, but portions could have been larger and the menu choice could do with some expansion to incorporate more vegetarian and vegan options. That said, the kitchen was obliging.

We were very pleased with the quality of our room after a very mixed start. It was all newly refurbished and clean. The bar area was spacious and the quality of the food was very good. The staff all cared about the business - shame about the outside.

It is a lovely venue, in need of some serious TLC. It was clean, the staff were attentive. Wine was good and I am sure the garden is a fab place to be in the summer.
I considered renting the little cottage for a week, but that also needs some serious money invested to upgrade it. These are only my observations. The peeling paint, worn-out carpets, shower needs re-grouting and maybe give the garden furniture a little TLC.
