Debbie and Dave were great hosts! Very accommodating with the breakfast. Location is ideal to explore Galloway and Dumfries. TV comes with Netflix and Prime access. Would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Dot and Adrian were the perfect hosts making us extremely welcome. Breakfasts were excellent with both freshly cooked items and a good choice of cereals. The accommodation was wonderful, set in wide open countryside, with a wonderful view from our bedroom.

Second to none ! Best breakfast I’ve ever had the haggis was Beautiful double yolk eggs endless tea , fruit juice etc , nothing was too much trouble, really lovely warm welcoming owners, don’t change a thing ! The rooms are spotless, extremely comfortable, quiet , nicely decorated ( quirky) well stocked with tea coffee biscuits milk, nice Fluffy towels , hairdryer shampoos conditioner shower gel hand wash face clothes cotton buds etc lots of local information available a downs stairs lounge to use and dining room with books galore games etc , they do a super evening menu with soups and sandwiches, pretty gardens and good parking space, I could go on and on but I’m just going to say I loved it here and I can definitely recommend !!!!

A lovely modern space with a clean and spacious kitchen set-up. The dorms were very comfortable with a bathroom per dorm and great shower. I was lucky to have only 1 other person in 6-bed dorm and very easy to work around each other. No lockable place for valuables but I didn't feel the need. Only booked that morning but easily got key and able to settle in. Great WiFi!

Our second stay here, and have to say very disappointed on this occasion having given a glowing review 2 years ago. The location is peaceful, the house is in a lovely location away from the road and the grounds are lovely. The restaurant setting is very nice and the bed was very very comfortable. This could be a really nice B&B but it requires some TLC. The evening meal was nice.

The most stunning views. We were very lucky with the weather so spent lots of time in the outdoor seating listening to the stream and birdsong. Room itself spacious and comfortable. The gather is a beautiful space and food good. Might go for lodge with a hot tub next time!
