Room was spacious, clean and bed was comfortable.
Really enjoyed the area and location surrounding the Hotel. It’s very close to York (15 mins) drive but far enough away you’re in the beautiful countryside.
The spa was amazing and had food from the onsite pub which was lovely.

Perfect location with everything you need to totally relax and unwind. Fishing lake was 20 paces from the accommodation (and full of fish), Jacuzzi was 5 paces from the front door (and extremely clean), WiFi was available with a Firestick in the TV (and good signal) and the hosts (Lisa & Paul) were genuine , friendly, down to earth people who couldn't do enough for you - what's not to love !!

It is also convenient for the nearby river and moored boats. The small village shop is very well stocked and includes alcohol, fresh pies and fresh vegetables.
