Little touches like traditional sweets and biscuits left in the room on arrival were lovely.

Eyam is a very pretty and really interesting village, with plaques on houses which are relevant to the history of the village relating to the plague. They have a museum that also tells the story of how the village was affected by the plague, which unfortunately wasn't open due to time of year. The village pub (The Miners Arms) is a very charming pub with an excellent choice of drinks. They also serve food, which we would definately recommend.

Interesting historical village with a harrowing story to tell which was well told with signs outside some of the cottages with what had happened to the inhabitants during the Great Plague. This was a stop over for us on out journey to Northumberland.

Small but very good and informative museum in the village.
Small but very good and informative museum in the village. We only found one place to eat - at the pub - but the excellent Indian restaurant in nearby Stoney Middleton is worth a visit (booking advised).

Eyam is a beautiful historic village.
Eyam is a beautiful historic village. A great place to stay with good facilities - a post office, local shop and store, tea rooms, village pub and post office. The Eyam Tea shop is a must and a lovely meal can be had in the Miner's Arms. It's also a great base for exploring the Peak District and surrounding towns and villages.

Full of history and character.
Full of history and character. Good to explore local footpaths. Visited in March so lovely and quiet. Recommend walk to Monpesson's Well but it's quite an uphill hike from village.
Walk (or drive) to The Barrel at Bretton for good food and fantastic views.

Such a beautiful and interesting village in the Peak...
Such a beautiful and interesting village in the Peak District, we had no idea of the history of the village during the Plague when we booked a weekend away. The museum and church are well worth visiting, with so much information and memorabilia on show, we were warmly welcomed at both. There’s also lots of interesting information dotted about the village. We were lucky to see the beautiful well dressings when we visited during their carnival week. There are a couple of good places to eat with an excellent choice of food and drinks, The Miners Arms was our favourite, we also enjoyed a coffee and cake at the quirky Vintage Tea Rooms. We would avoid visiting on a bank holiday next time!
Despite what Booking says, Bretton cottage is not in Eyam but overlooks it; you have to go through Foolow to get to Bretton which overlooks much of the area...great location though. The host was very helpful recommending local eating establishments (Bull's Head Inn and Red Lion - both were excellent). Our room was big with King Bed which was very comfortable. No ambient light so very dark at night. Breakfasts were first class and host was flexible with mix and match from menu choices. Internet was quite fast.
This B&B was so lovely, clean and modern. We were so lucky that the hosts were able to work around us checking in early as we were attending a wedding in Eyam so we were very restricted as to when we could check in.
The walk from Eyam to the property was a simple short walk just slightly dark down the lane from the street but nothing our torches on our phones couldn’t help with.
We would highly recommend Innisfree cottage and will most definitely be back.
Thank you for having us ☺️
Lovely Village, set in spectacular scenery and central for visiting some of Derbyshire tourist attractions. The food at the Miner's Arms was outstanding, from the freshly cooked breakfast offering local produce to the stunning food from the evening menu, which offered a wide choice and again cooked to perfection. Ideal place for dog's too, we had two sausage dog's with us and were worn out by the fuss alone.
Beautiful location with wonderful views. Glad we chose the room which had windows overlooking the view. Lovely clean and comfy room with very modern ensuite. Great smart TV and wifi access. Food was great with an excellent breakfast. Location near Eyam which has a fascinating history and well worth a visit. We spent a lot longer there than we expected.
Great location just a short stroll from the heart of the wonderful village of Eyam. Our hosts were very helpful too when we arrived by providing us with the door code. Really nice facilities as well such as two bathrooms (one with a bath), very comfy beds, a very comfy and spacious living area and fairly well equipped kitchen.
Lovely character hotel in a stunning location. Friendly staff, great pub and the breakfast was delicious. Had dinner and that was great. Good old fashioned British inn. Ideal for a solo traveller like myself. Was so nice being able to grab a cider and relax in the beer garden before heading to bed and on to a day of walking.
We loved the quiet little village of Eyam so full of poignant history and the cottage was perfect for a few days stay. Great location in middle of town, well equipped kitchen, lovely garden area, cosy furnishings, comfortable bed, friendly hosts. Parking on site.
Accommodation, village, everything was beautiful, clean, tidy and hosts were super friendly, helpful and they make delicious breakfast. The best place to stay at when exploring Peak District 👌🏻
Spacious, well-appointed and stylish ground-floor apartment that is well heated. Beautiful situated and very quiet. Lovely walk to Eyam and Foolow. Easy access to Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.
A beautiful peaceful location. Dogs were very happy there. Very clean and tidy with a good coffee machine. Short walk to a lovely village pub, didn't eat there but food looked good.
We had a very nice room with a sink and tap, very clean. The hotel is in a tranquil place on a hill in the countryside. Some beer can be bought at the reception until 9pm.
Friendly staff, comfortable spacious room, excellent bathroom and shower, great food, and an unrivalled location with an amazing view over the Peak District.
