The full Scottish and pots of coffee were superb! My Working Cocker Spaniel was very eager to help me polish off the full Scottish, toast and jam! All of the staff are dog people and were very welcoming of Sophia who felt like she was the star act for the four nights we were there. Again, Sophia helped me munch my way through the evening menu, as well. Dogs are equally as welcome in the bar area as they are in the breakfast room. The village of Auchencrow is lovely, it's very quiet and full of doggy neighbours. There is also a footpath a short walk up the hill from The Craw Inn which is maintained by the local Council. They even mowed it while I was there! It's a great, safe, off-road route for dog walking but mind the sheep at the end! Being away from home with a dog is always a worry as to where they can safely run off the lead, but this was fabulous!

Jade and her staff made us feel very welcome, the views from the guesthouse are wonderful, with a free carpark. The bedrooms are a good size with large comfortable beds and a good sized on-suite. Everything was spotless and clean. Breakfast had plenty of choice of cooked and cold. Eyemouth is a lovely fishing town, well worth a visit, great location with plenty of places to visit Rob & Kath.

Eyemouth is a generally quiet town, few shops, the beach is ok but the harbour is more vibrant and busy with lovely chippy and The Ship and Oblos are lovely for food. We stayed in Eyemouth because I knew it was a perfect base for travelling to other towns on the East coast. Eyemouth is worth a visit but don’t expect too much activity.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

.We had a lovely big, bright clean room...tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room and we each had a bottle of water at our bedsides. The host, Amanda was very helpful...she told us where we could get a nice breakfast, we followed her advice and went to The Waterfront cafe where they had a good selection for breakfast. We had a walk around Eyemouth and called in for a drink at the Tavern where the bar lady was really friendly. I would have liked to stay longer at The Ships Quarters. We used Eyemouth as a base to visit Lindisfarne, and it suited our needs well. The town itself was very charming to walk about and I would have liked to explore it further if we had had more time. The hotel seems to have an associated restaurant, where we had a very nice meal. There were various tasty options for breakfast places nearby.

Toiletries, towels and bedding were all included as was the use of bikes if we would have liked them. Everything was spotless and there was contact from the owner to ensure we had all we needed. It was in a great spot on Eyemouth Park Dean Resort. The site itself was also very clean and well cared for. We had free use of the local swimming pool and the walk along the cliff path and down into the town was great.

The hotel is in a good location, not far from the centre of Eyemouth. We did think of walking down into the village for a meal, but as it is all uphill on the way back we became lazy and drove, but there's plenty of parking so no problem there.
