The craw inn, hotel in Eyemouth

Situated in Eyemouth, 20 km from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema, The craw inn features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

The full Scottish and pots of coffee were superb! My Working Cocker Spaniel was very eager to help me polish off the full Scottish, toast and jam! All of the staff are dog people and were very welcoming of Sophia who felt like she was the star act for the four nights we were there. Again, Sophia helped me munch my way through the evening menu, as well. Dogs are equally as welcome in the bar area as they are in the breakfast room. The village of Auchencrow is lovely, it's very quiet and full of doggy neighbours. There is also a footpath a short walk up the hill from The Craw Inn which is maintained by the local Council. They even mowed it while I was there! It's a great, safe, off-road route for dog walking but mind the sheep at the end! Being away from home with a dog is always a worry as to where they can safely run off the lead, but this was fabulous!

Jade and her staff made us feel very welcome, the views from the guesthouse are wonderful, with a free carpark. The bedrooms are a good size with large comfortable beds and a good sized on-suite. Everything was spotless and clean. Breakfast had plenty of choice of cooked and cold. Eyemouth is a lovely fishing town, well worth a visit, great location with plenty of places to visit Rob & Kath.

Eyemouth is a generally quiet town, few shops, the beach is ok but the harbour is more vibrant and busy with lovely chippy and The Ship and Oblos are lovely for food. We stayed in Eyemouth because I knew it was a perfect base for travelling to other towns on the East coast. Eyemouth is worth a visit but don’t expect too much activity.

.We had a lovely big, bright clean room...tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room and we each had a bottle of water at our bedsides. The host, Amanda was very helpful...she told us where we could get a nice breakfast, we followed her advice and went to The Waterfront cafe where they had a good selection for breakfast. We had a walk around Eyemouth and called in for a drink at the Tavern where the bar lady was really friendly. I would have liked to stay longer at The Ships Quarters. Maybe need to visit again.

It looks a lovely town, but sadly lots of shops empty.

It looks a lovely town, but sadly lots of shops empty. Harbour where you could buy food to feed seals, but not at the team we were there. Nice walk along a small pier, but lackof safety barriers was concerning - there is a 30 foot drop into the sea.

We used Eyemouth as a base to visit Lindisfarne, and it suited our needs well. The town itself was very charming to walk about and I would have liked to explore it further if we had had more time. The hotel seems to have an associated restaurant, where we had a very nice meal. There were various tasty options for breakfast places nearby.

The caravan was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Toiletries, towels and bedding were all included as was the use of bikes if we would have liked them. Everything was spotless and there was contact from the owner to ensure we had all we needed. It was in a great spot on Eyemouth Park Dean Resort. The site itself was also very clean and well cared for. We had free use of the local swimming pool and the walk along the cliff path and down into the town was great.

We know the area well and have stayed in Eyemouth many times. This caravan is basic but an ideal base for a couple of days away from it all and very budget friendly. There is decent heating and hot water. Beds made up for arrival. Great position facing the kids park. Eyemouth is a lovely wee place. Walk along the coast. Pop into the amusements and have a game of bowling. Blow the cobwebs away. Feed the seals. Have an ice cream!

Looked up this place on booking.com. even the pic here is better looking than the place. The place is not fitting for people. No food. Pool table room is in shambles. The front bar is not even open.very dirty on the outside and inside in some of the rooms. Extremely disappointed. They should give false info on the site as people pay money to stay there. They should pay people to stay there. Stay somewhere else in Eyemouth.

We were given a friendly welcome - always a good start - and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location, not far from the centre of Eyemouth. We did think of walking down into the village for a meal, but as it is all uphill on the way back we became lazy and drove, but there's plenty of parking so no problem there.

The flat was exceptional. It was very spacious and equipped to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable. It was well positioned on Eyemouth’s High Street. A most enjoyable stay especially since the Herring Queen Festival was on. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. We were a family group with 2 children.

Great space, like an American loft. Hotel quality linens. Reliable internet - good enough for work commitments, including Zoom. Great location in centre of Eyemouth, minutes from beach/harbour. Excellent local facilities: pubs, coffee shops, fresh fish, green grocers and coop. Lovely local walks - didn't use the car!

We had 3 wonderful days in Sarah's cosy and comfortable apartment. Eyemouth is a lovely little town and the coastline in this area is spectacular. We are surprised to find coffee, tea, milk and toast in the kitchen, thank you very much, Sarah. An accommodation that we are would recommend.
