WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE TO STAY..SPOTLESS AND CLEAN, EXCELLENT FACILITIES.NICE LARGE EN-SUITE BEDROOMS. NICE ROSE GARDEN FOR DRINKING IN THE SUMMER. WELL COOKED AND PRESENTED FOOD, BOTH BREAKFAST AND DINNER.WELL CHOSEN MENU TO SUITE A WIDE AUDIENCE. LARGE CAR PARK, AND RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF TOWN. The room was amazing the the staff was even nicer, was there for two night stay for partners 40th. I had arranged for the flowers to be delivered and the staff went the extra mile decorating the room with some small touches without being asked. Breakfast was also lovely

This is a delightful little hotel. It is a little spartan but in a good way. It has everything you need, including bedside lamps on both sides of the bed and plenty of electric sockets - including at least one near a mirror and shelf (something that is often lacking even in multi-national hotels). The bathroom was spotless (an extra shelf near the sink and in the shower for putting things on would be useful). Be careful if you are more than average height - this is an old building so doorways are short! We were late arrivals so we didn’t actually meet any staff but they kept in touch through messages and phone and were helpful and lovely to deal with. We would stay again.
