Room, bathroom and toilet all very clean and comfortable, if a little chilly, but good radiator in room and plenty of hot water
Small fridge in room, supplied with milk and orange juice, together with selection of small cereal packets, very useful
Room surprisingly quiet even though pub is right on a town centre junction

The whole place is peaceful and beautiful. The room was very comfortable, with en-suite shower room. I asked at reception for an extra pillow and it was quickly provided. Breakfast was good - buffet style with everything one could want.
The gardens are lovely, especially as I was very fortunate with the weather during my stay. The carillons ringing out made a delightful sound.
The Shrine Church is very special, with a great deal to see and learn, as well as services held frequently.
Walsingham Abbey is only a few minutes walk away, and offers a wonderful step back into history with the museum there. The Abbey ruins are rather sad, but also majestic. The gardens are wonderful. When I visited the bluebells were just coming out.
Lunch at the Read And Digest Tearoom, situated between the Shrine and the Abbey, was delicious.
Wells-next-the-sea is an easy bus ride away and is well worth a visit. Alpaca trekking is available (see their website) and ambling along with an alpaca is a very pleasant hour or so.
A very restoring few days.

House was super clean and owners were super accommodating and helpful.
I made a mistake on the booking and they sorted it generously, efficiently and didn't
make any drama.
They answered our question very quickly and were very welcoming. House was
cozy even though it was February. We're all very happy and didn't want to leave.

The pub is a typical country pub but the dining rooms were decorated to a very high standard and were very good taste in my opinion - it was obvious a lot of thought had gone into the design of everything.
The two rooms we booked in the purpose built buildings outside the pub were beautiful with great attention to detail.
The gardens and outside areas were beautifully looked after and so the whole site is very attractive and appealing,
Lovely staff - all extremely helpful and friendly

It was a good place to use as a base to explore North Norfolk. Kings Lynn, Norwich, Sheringham, Aylsham, Burnham Overy, Burnham, Walsingham all within easy access. Local pubs and shopping facilities are fine, but nothing to write home about.

Great for the coast.
Morrisons, Tesco, lidl easily accessible when self catering.
Lovely walks along the river Wensum and around the town.
Recommend Mr Chips for fish and chips. We were able to sit outside under a rambling vine!
Not easy to drive through the town. Definitely recommend a satnav.

In actual fact we did come to the area to walk the beaches and didn’t venture much into Fakenham itself. But the town is in good vicinity to the beaches and many great pubs and things to do and places to see ie Wells next the sea etc

It was an amazing short stay.
It was an amazing short stay. Extremely relaxing with all the home comforts that you need. The breakfast and evening meal was bespoke standard and really good. My husband would have liked a TV in our room but I was happy with the radio
This barn-conv is really nicely done, spacious with clearly top-quality materials and fittings. Every comfort is thought of.
Location is very quiet, barn and small private patio is south-facing. Large parking area and totally secure.
Host very welcoming, said hello and goodbye.
Fakenham has just enough facilities to serve a self-catering break, and many day-locations are within reach.
The property was in a great location in Fakenham. There is private parking at the rear of the property
5 minutes walk to the centre of Fakenham but the house is off the main road and very quiet especially at night.
Lena the host lives next door and is available should you have any queries.
A quirky house full of character built in the 15 hundreds with a Georgian addition added at a later date
What an amazing place. Tracey and Ian manage to merge traditional B&B with boutique hotel luxury perfectly! They are also so dog friendly that we often felt we were on our dog's holiday! Garden House is perfectly situated to explore the many delights of the north Norfolk coast, and is a wonderful place to come back to and relax after you have. Can not recommend highly enough.
The B&B is in a quiet village not far from Fakenham. The traditional style double room with en-suite shower room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The landlady was welcoming, friendly and informative. Breakfast was very good with everything anyone is likely to want, nicely cooked and presented. We had tea making facilities in the room. Good WiFi.
It is good both bed and breakfast. It is very comfortable. Sleeping well. It is good bedroom and Seperate private bathroom. I have told him and I don't like brown bread. He did made bake change to white bread. Happy.
It is too small town of Fakenham. Good see to place it.
Lovely property in a very good location.
Spotlessly clean with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay.
Very quiet area close to nice walks if you like walking or have a dog.
Would recommend this propertly and would definitely stay again.
Hotel is bang next door to a pub, where on weekends they have v loud disco going on till midnight. No problem if you're in your 20s, or you know about it in advance, but we aren't and we didn't. Room is nice enough, and staff friendly for sure.
Booked by chance as we couldn't get into our usual hotel. But what a find! Exceptional all round. Great, friendly staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Excellent food, exceptional wine list. All round a great location for visiting north Norfolk.
The pub is in a great location and the price was very reasonable for the area and with a decent car park. The accommodation is great for a night's stay in Fakenham.
