Falmouth is a hilly town but has lots to offer for all age groups if you can walk up hills. The town is like most other towns with many empty shops sadly but there are still lots of shops and independent shops. The art gallery was a bit disappointing although the building it was in is beautiful. The Museum is good value for money and you can return any time within the year once you have paid entrance fee. Falmouth is very close to lots of other nice places in Cornwall. You can easily walk from the train station into town. I ate at Verdant Tapas bar and another Tapas bar outside of town, you cannot pre book at Verdants. The town is a bit tatty in places but it adds to its character! Lots of places to eat to cater for all peoples tastes!

The "Sabzi" cafe is great for vegan persian themed food, daily changing menu, a sample box is enough food for two people two meals. The Charity shops have more men's wear than most: Jackets, Shoes.

I love having a variety of safe sandy swimming beaches with calm waters ideal for paddleboarding, kayak exploration. Great range of places to eat, lots of options for vegans. Always some type of live music on somewhere. Good vibe to the town. Ideal location to explore the surrounding area by foot. A must visit is the Wilder Kitchen, such a gem serving delicious Thali. Also Castle beach cafe for takeaway breakfast or lunch and Ciuri Ciuri for the best italian Gelato (always great vegan choices too)

The location is hard to beat, the building is amazing but if you’ve booked going on the pictures you’re going to be disappointed, it is tired and dated- for the price we paid we were super disappointed. I stay in a lot of hotels for business and this was not cheap. I guess the nostalgia was nice, my young kids could see what it was like when I stayed in a hotel when I was their age, The Falmouth feels like it hasn’t been updated and only ever been hoovered in the last 30 years.

The hotel room itself was clean. We didn't use the kitchen but when we poked our head in it looked clean. The price was good for Falmouth. The room was spacious and had what we needed for a short stay. The door codes were helpful as we didn't need to bring an actual door key around with us. The car park was up a steep angle for our poor little car, but it was good that there were spaces. The bathroom was small but nice.

I've stayed here before so the fact that I came back tells you everything. The rooms are comfy and very clean and even a little chic in some respects. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are excellent. Location is perfect, at the quiet end of town but still only a few minutes walk from the main drag. Also, if you're really lucky you get greeted by Teddy the hotel poodle upon arrival.

Upgraded to room with sea view. Shampoo, body wash, water, tea, coffee etc was at Reception so you took only what you needed. Water bottles were reusable. Breakfast was ordered day before so no waste. View was amazing. Area was quiet and beautiful. 12 minute walk into centre of Falmouth. No problems parking at the hotel. All the staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

We checked in late. After an initial delay the staff were able to set us a room with twin beds. They were very pleasant and hospitable during the wait. The hotel premises (outdoors) are lovely and indoors have strong wifi signals. Breakfast was delicious. This was a peaceful stay that I had imagined. I wish I stayed longer and explored the Gyllyngvase beach and the surrounding area.

Fabulous traditional Hotel. Great breakfast and Menu, comfortable room with lift access, helpful Staff and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The location on the sea front is superb and parking is plentiful. A public bus service 67 runs from across the road on a circular route into Falmouth town throughout the day. Will definitely be booking a longer stay next year.

A lovely big old house with lots of space and character. Super, refurbished kitchen with everything you might need. Also, a great modern shower room with a powerful shower. Comfortable lounge with new sofas. One off road parking space. Just a 10 min walk into centre of Falmouth. (Up the hill, so not suitable for anyone who struggles with walking).

The breakfast was fantastic, the spa and massage treatment was the best I have ever had. The food was very tasty in the Brasserie on the Bay would recommend this to freinds. The hotel was very close to the beach with lovely views. The large hydrothermal pool was great and the steam/Sauna rooms both inside and out was lovely.

Very clean, city center and easy to reach everything in Falmouth. Bed rooms are super quiet and towards the back. Kitchen very well equipped but we would recommend to eat out as there are very good restaurant around like the seafood bar, pho bar or the Harbour view. Totally recommended.

Nice hotel, friendly helpful staff. Very good breakfast and we dined twice in the restaurant which was very good. A long steep walk from the town but taxis were easy to find to shuttle up and down the hill. Nearby Gyllingvase Beach is sandy and clean.
