Breakfast was not an option. Porridge, coffee, tea and biscuits are available in bedrooms. The hotel was difficult to find because it is actually called The Gurkha Restaurant and there is nothing to show that it’s The Woodcock Inn. I drove past it as the SatNav instructions told us to bear left on Woodcock Hill, when I was already driving SW on that road. Obviously I could not look at my phone whilst driving, so could not see that the road splits around the restaurant and a few other properties.

This 4-star sustainability award winner hotel is linked to Gatwick Airport's North Terminal by a short, covered walkway and easy connections via monorail to the South Terminal.

The hotel is a great position for getting to both terminals, so takes the stress away from early flights. We had mentioned it was our honeymoon and were given a surprise upgrade which really made our stay. The food options were great - far more than we had expected, and the room was lovely. For an airport hotel, this was a fab place to stay!

Excellent location next to security. It was amazing being able to start an early flight with no stress due to transport issues. The room was super clean and the bed very comfortable. Of note, we had zero queues getting there and out, as you can check in and out with your phone. The room with no window was cleverly lit and arranged, so we did not feel claustrophobic. Would 100% recommend

This modern hotel is a 5-minute drive from London Gatwick Airport. The shuttle bus is currently not in operation, however a taxi can be arranged by Front Desk for approx. £18.

The boutique, 5-star Alexander House and Utopia Spa is just 6 miles from Gatwick and close to M25 junction 6 and M23 junction 10.
