Accommodation was spacious and comfortable. Host was gracious and helpful.
Had 2 large dogs which were incredibly friendly. ( May be an issue for some but not us ).

Flore is a quiet little village just outside Northampton.
Flore is a quiet little village just outside Northampton. There are some nice walks along the canal, through the church and over fields. It's really easy to access Northampton and other close by places of interest.

It's an English village or small town in a nice part of the countryside that does exactly what you expect. It just happens to be about 10 miles away from Silverstone too. While I was there I did a little green-laning and exploring and also dropped my motorbike on a gravel slope. In the middle of nowhere at dusk a couple appeared in a pick-up truck and not only helped me pick up the bike but insisted on waiting with me for sometime as I had a problem (caused by a bit of gravel stopping the side-stand going fully up it turned out). The effort they went to to help me out, phoning friends who had motorbikes and anything that they could to help left me a bit humbled and reminded me that there's actually quite a nice world out there. Flore is that kind of place.
It's a lovely place, the driveway would suit the entrance to a 5* hotel. The host was very friendly and helpful on arrival. I stayed in one of the coverted outbuildings. Easy to come and go from the room without feeling you might wake-up or irate another guest. The room had everything you need, very basic but clean and the mattress was really comfortable. There was no TV in the room which for me is a bonus as there was no temptation to stay-up late watching a random programme. But there was wifi.
I loved how secluded the location was and it was super peaceful! And the dogs were amazing and loved some attention.
The bed was so comfortable I must have slept for over 12hours! It felt like a fancy hotel get away but at a fraction of the cost
The breakfast was exceptional and for how much was plated up the cost was brilliant and cooked to perfection.
Will definitely be visiting again and hopefully for a little longer so we can enjoy some local food and the beautiful surroundings
The price was fair. The cabin was clean and comfortable with modern accessories (tv, bed, heater, AC, kettle, fridge, shower, sofa). Free on-site parking. Had a fenced in garden for our dogs. Swimming pool (although we didn’t have time to use it). The owners/staff were very friendly. The Cabin is much better than a hotel and cheaper. It was dog-friendly and didn’t charge extra for the dogs - whereas hotels rip people off at £10-20 per dog. We highly recommend The Cabin!
Location was great, ten minutes walk to the bus stop. A beautiful property set in lovely grounds with mature trees and garden, peaceful and quiet. Kitchen was well equipped, cereal, milk, tea, coffee and snacks provided. Owners were responsive to any queries but respected our privacy. Beds were very comfortable, heating provided and also a fan. I would highly recommend this property in Flore as a lovely place to stay.
Flore is a beautiful village and the 2 different properties I've stayed in there have been outstanding!
The accommodation has the wow factor for sure and the host greeted us in a friendly warm manner.
A couple of small niggles; no TV or music system, thankfully there was WiFi! The room we stayed in seemed to be recently built for purpose, therefore some tweaks to make this place exceptional are needed.
The whole building was special as it was an old stable now converted into 8 room hotel with nice bathrooms and a shared kitchenette if you wanted to do some simple meals. Breakfast was simple with healthy choices of cereal. You could also order a nice hot breakfast which Patricia makes with your dietary references . Overall a very pleasant stay indeed. Anita
The whole ambiance was calm and relaxing, the gardens were beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and the overall experience was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had, which according to booking.com is over 83 in the last few years in at least 10 countries, and this place was by far my favourite.
Huge room, shared fridge and kitchen, loads of parking, nice outdoor area, comfy bed, very nice hosts. Flore is areally nice little village. There is a good little coffee shop about five mins walk away. Only thing missing in the village is a pub.
Beautiful, peaceful place in Flore. Our one-bedroom suite was enormous, quiet, and had a pretty view of the garden - great value. The hosts were so lovely (including their friendly dogs!). We’d definitely stay again.
