It is isolated but that’s why I chose it. The location was amazing and so incredibly quiet and peaceful.
I wanted to visit Forsinard Flow and this was the perfect place as it was a very short walk.
My room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. Kitchen and dining facilities were terrific and complimentary tea and coffee was welcomed..
Red deer are all around and lots of beautiful birds to listen to. I loved my stay.

Convenient place to stay after a week on Orkney before returning via the NC500. Very good size room with view to woods behind the house. Clean and comfortable and good breakfast. Friendly and efficient service.

Forsinain itself is wonderful and in fact there IS a route...
Forsinain itself is wonderful and in fact there IS a route from Forsinain to get to Badnaheen which in fact is far kinder on your vehicle than the route from A9, although a mile or two longer.
Forsinain is not far from the ESPB Reserve at Forsinard Flows which is also fabulous.
The A897 follows the Helmsdale River and is spectacular.
