The Old Tea House, hotel in Frampton

Built in 1635, The Old Tea House provides bed and breakfast in one of Dorchester’s oldest houses. With free Wi-Fi, this Dorset guest house serves homemade food including a full cooked breakfast.

Debbie is wonderful--full of fun, very informative, and happy to oblige with anything. The lovely cold fare she set out for us to enjoy while she prepared our cooked breakfast was so tempting that we ate everything and barely had room to squeeze in the cooked part! The four-poster bed was amazing and we slept like logs. The sitting room that made up our little suite was far more spacious than we'd expected and furnished with two comfortable sofas plus a table and chairs, and a small fridge where Debbie had left us fresh milk. It is everything you'd expect of an ancient property--I think it dates back to the 16th century--and if I ever return to Dorchester, I'll be very disappointed if I can't stay there again.
