This property was excellent-from Terri meeting us to hand over the keys, to enjoying the wood burner on the chilly nights, amazing kitchen with all you need in it and lots of worktop space and a huge table. Attention to details in all rooms, comfy beds, cute little garden, clean everywhere...just perfect!

Other than the Lighthouse Museum - definitely well worth the visit Fraserburgh it's self didn't have much. The Beach is lovely but had so many dead birds on it due to Bird Flu - I counted 3 puffins, 2 cormorants, 20 + razorbills, and 30+ guillemots on a 3/4 mile stretch of the beach, Council says it's not up to them to clean beach. but for visitors and locals alike, not a pretty sight. Fraserburgh is a working fishing town and should be respected for that.

Born and raised in Fraserburgh,we’ve seen many changes over the years. Some businesses have closed but there are new ones coming into the town. There is a great beach which can lead you on to some of the small fishing villages on the coast. It is a great base for exploring the north east corner of Scotland with beautiful coastline and also inland farm land.

Highly recommend a visit to the lighthouse museum, which includes a guided tour and demonstration of the Stephenson lighthouse and how it works. There are quite a few stairs to climb, but the view from the top is excellent. We also visited some of the fishing villages nearby. Lots of picturesque, old buildings full of character. We spotted some dolphins off the coast. We enjoyed a friendly chat with the locals in the beer garden, which is a sun trap.

An old fishing town, still actively so, but has the air of being run down. There appears to be very little to do there, regardless of age or interest.
Saying that, there beach to the east of the town is expansive and relatively clean. It was good to take a couple of hours walking out across the beach and back.
Food choices are OK, but nothing special.
If I were heading back to this part of the country, I would be looking at staying somewhere different, where there might be more points of interest, and probably closer to the Cairngorms and/or Inverness.

The beach is golden sand, the harbour can be a busy place early mornings.
Weatherspoons always has really good meals on offer. Great fish and chip shops and family bakers.
You can walk around Fraserburgh easily, however, you really need a form of transport to go further afield.

a beautiful house and perfect location for Rathen and Fraserburgh which is where I needed to be. I couldn’t believe how lovely it was when I arrived and Terri was wonderful when my journey didn’t go to plan and I was a lot later than expected. fantastic value for money and I would recommend to everyone - thank you!
Lovely hotel/restaurant/pub, very friendly staff, great food in the restaurant, best meal I have had in ages!!
Room facilities were good, also an iron in the room, which you don’t get everywhere.
Lovely quiet village and the Davron is 100 metres from the sea.
Great beer garden and the breakfast was excellent.
A lovely large room with a really comfortable bed that gave me great nights sleep .... until 0600!
Located in centrally in Fraserburgh with free overnight parking out the front of the accommodation between 1800-0800.
The bar staff were very polite and accommodating.
the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the location was ideal for seeing the north coast of Aberdeenshire and the little village of Rosehearty is lovely. We were delighted by the delicious and varied menu in the restaurant, we ate there both nights of our stay.
Second time staying at this hotel this year. I absolutely love it. The staff are so friendly and kind. The rooms are exceptionally clean and big. And the food is amazing and reasonably priced. Will be back as soon as I can.
Excellent location close to Fraserburgh for visiting family. Very peaceful with far reaching views. Very comfortable bed, sofa and shower and very well equipped kitchen. Cannot think of anything that was missing.
The food was quite good but being yanks our tastes and preferences are different altogether. The pub was a lot of fun! The location is outstanding. Absolutely loved the history behind the hotel; very unique
The hotel was in a good location. Pay parking in front was affordable. I liked how you needed a hotel key to use the elevator. The breakfast and coffee were good. Lots of choices.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Owner gave us a lift to the leisure centre on our first night there. Hotel was very clean. Beds were very comfy i had the best sleep ever.
