Lovely Inn. Stylish decoration and furnishings, cosy atmosphere. Very old building full of character. Staff very friendly, literally nothing was too much trouble. Family bedroom had everything you need, bathroom had bath as well as a separate shower. Big car park and a large garden area with seating. Ending up joining in with Morris Dancing troupe who arrived… but that was our choice, not compulsory!

Rich in historic character and traditional charm, this stone-built coaching inn originally dates back to the 1500s. It offers comfortable en suite rooms, free Wi-Fi and ample free parking.

The Archangel,Restaurant & Bar with Rooms was first recorded as an inn in 1311, with preserved ancient walls and beams. This medieval property offers a busy bar and restaurant with a cocktail scene.

The property was built in the 1300s so has a lot of character, and with a building this old it is not perfect but is perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they do a very nice breakfast. I am a vegetarian and found the veggie breakfast very nice.
On average, 3-star hotels in Frome cost € 126.38 per night, and 4-star hotels in Frome are € 121.72 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Frome can on average be found for € 148.54 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
I know Frome as I lived here in the 80s. Lovely quaint market town, but it has become more busy and parking is difficult generally. Two theatres... great! And lots of entertainment in Cheese and Grain. Very hilly place, ok if you’re fit to walk everywhere, if not there are buses.

Lots going on and plenty of places to wander around. Interesting independent shops and eating places (but book ahead at the weekend fof evening dining). Good as a base for exploring West Wiltshire and Somerset.

The George hotel, fronting on to a busy main road, was noisy; it was only single-glazed. From what we could tell, Frome offers no other hotels - shame.
There were some nice eating places in the town; we visited a fine Italian restaurant on three evenings, no less.
We also happened on an excellent coffee/chocolate shop, appropriately called Choc. The staff were excellent, as was the produce.
Frome benefits from a railway station, with frequent services to Bath and beyond, also to Weymouth. Alas, for us it involved a mile-long walk from the centre of the town.

Absolutely beautiful and quirky.
Absolutely beautiful and quirky. Loads of independent shops and eateries. Wonderful independent cinema and fabulous old-fashioned bakery with gorgeous cakes.
The Lamb and Fountain is the most incredible old-fashioned pub in a backstreet. Like stepping back in time. Delicious and very cheap farmhouse cider on draft and cheese and onion rolls for sale. Has a lovely courtyard garden down an alleyway out the back.

We stayed at the George in Nunney which is the most beautiful little village. Outdoor seating at the pub both in their gardens and over the road where you can sit by the river with a perfect view of the castle.
Their is an ancient monument and a lovely church, a picture perfect little village.
The castle is free to walk around in to go inside.
We ate in the George and the food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. The staff are police, efficient and helpful.
I couldn't recommend both the pub and the village more.
We were surprised to find the property in a housing estate. However it was very conveniently situated close to Longleat Safari Park and Frome town centre.
If you prefer full English breakfast this is not the establishment for you. We were very happy with continental breakfast, which was plentiful. Breakfast was very relaxed, Nicki and Tim were very attentive and excellent hosts.
Our room was delightful, very well equipped and comfortable.
Nicki was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.
The apartment looks like the photos and is well located to visit Frome and surrounding region. We didn't meet our host but check-in and check-out are easy. Informations provided are clear enough so we had no question. Gemma and Matt are responsive to mails. The dedicated car parking is an advantage though located within the communal area less appealing than the Georgian Manor and it's front entrance, same for the view from the bay window on the rear side of the Manor.
The Cornerhouse is in a great location for exploring and close to the town. The room had just been refurbished, so it was all new and spotlessly clean. There was a nice choice of breakfast and the staff were warm and welcoming.
Just be aware (July 2023) they are currently looking for an evening cook, so there are no evening meals. We were recommended a restaurant within a few minutes walk which was really lovely and there are lots of places to eat in Frome.
This is a small family home and has that feel. The cottage is a short walk to the lanes of Frome and felt well located. It only took 10 mins to walk home each night. The area is quiet and parking was easy. The kitchen was particularly nice and the main room we spent time in as it was spacious, light and airy. The master bedroom is big and the bed comfortable. The cottage was simply laid out and easy to be in.
Such a lovely place situated on the outskirts of the main small town of Frome. It’s situated above a gorgeous quaint bistro with beautifully furnished rooms that include really lovely unique touches. Both us and our children loved the family suite and had a really comfortable nights sleep. The breakfast the next morning was also delicious and much appreciated! :)
Interesting characterful house (though you will bang your head, guaranteed!) Very comfy bed and cosy room. Nice to have tea/coffee/milk in the room. Location is excellent though there is some pub noise opposite at turning out time (and drunk people of course!). But the general area is lovely. House owners are very friendly and welcoming.
Very comfy beds and great shower. Breakfast was delicious. We also had a lunch and this was equally tasty. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bistro is in an excellent position for the centre of Frome and for touring the area.
The hotel is in a great location for access to Frome and Bath. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was warm, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, with a range of cooked and continental breakfast.
Lovely listed building. Lovely ambience full of character.
Claire and her husband couldn’t of been more welcoming made feel at home. Lovely breakfast and lovely character dining area.
Lovely bathroom.xx
Fantastic value for money, comfortable, great breakfast and on site parking. The hotel is located a short walk from the picturesque town centre and minutes away from the theatre.
The room was excellent, and i took advantage of the excellent catering services as well. The hotel had a nice atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly.
