YHA Boggle Hole, hotel in Fylingthorpe

Situated alongside the coast in North York Moors National Park, YHA Boggle Hole is next to a bay that was once an infamous smuggler’s cove.

From arriving to leaving the staff were exceptional. Room exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the crows nest. Spent the weekend fossiling and taking photographs. The kitchen was fully equipped and facilities were spotless. We will be back.

Raven Hall Hotel, hotel in Fylingthorpe

Beautifully situated on the cliff at Ravenscar overlooking Robin Hood's Bay, Raven Hall Hotel is set in the scenic North York Moors. Its 90 acres of grounds include a 9-hole, cliff-top golf course.

Fantastic views from dining room. Efficient staff. Breakfast good. Tinned grapefruit and prunes are a bit 1970’s for breakfast - fruit needs more imagination. Porridge good but portion small. Sausages and fried bread spot on!

I would highly recommend a stay in this YHA.

I would highly recommend a stay in this YHA. The surrounding area is stunning. Lots to see and do if you like walking, fossiling, painting, playing by the sea. A short walk to Robin Hood's Bay on a low tide is a must. To wander and play.

Wow! What a great place just superb!.. Like being at home for a long weekend and made to feel so welcome. Everything and I mean everything you'd want from a stay away. We left it as spotless as we found it. Will definitely be back when our schedule allows.

We liked the solitude and abundance of walks available.

We liked the solitude and abundance of walks available. This location is suitable for active walkers and hikers but could be challenging for family's with young children. The fylingthorpe inn provides a good menu at reasonable prices and the delights of Robin Hoods bay is close by

Perfect place to take the kids. We have been a few times now and doesn’t disappoint. clean accommodation, fab themed cafe with cosy wood burner. friendly helpful staff and good food and drink. It’s a youth hostel and not a five star hotel but this is a fab youth hostel.

This is a hidden gem. A hotel that sits on the beach but away from everything else. You are hidden away from everything, but it’s still bustling. Such a lovely magical feel to it. Cake is amazing.
