It was the perfect place for a quiet and peaceful holiday and time out from all the tourists. Heidi went out of her way to make it a truly memorable and wonderful stay with decoration, welcome gifts and many thoughtful touches. She is an exceptional host. Comfortable and clean rooms, including bathrobes, and a lot of towels and slippers making it all the more cosy. The view was incredible and a lovely place to enjoy coffee, tea and food on the terrace. It is also easy to get to all sights nearby while enjoying a comfortable, peaceful and scenic rural setting. Highly recommend this chalet.

Beautiful property in a stunning location, rooms were very luxurious and comfortable and the views were stunning! Vicki was a great host, and the breakfasts were incredible, just what we needed before a day of hiking. It was a lovely touch coming back in the afternoon to home-baked cakes. Baba's rooms were lovely, private, clean & well kept. Baba has really put a lot of thought into creating a beautiful, safe, comfortable space for a single person or couple. We enjoyed having upstairs for ourselves with Baba nearby if we needed anything. The black out screens were great for sleep & there are lots of leaflets for activity ideas. Thanks Baba!

Jane was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble. We were treated to fresh daily milk in our room with a selection of cold drinks and snacks in the mini fridge and a cuppa as soon as we came through the door AND a cream scone. Wow .. talk about leaving the best till last. This was our final stop on our way home after 12 days doing the NC 500 and by far the best ( we stayed in some very expensive and posh hotels) Jane made us feel like family and tge bed and bed linen was outstanding. Wonderful location facing the castle with the loch lapping almost at the door. The cottage is clean, comfortable and excellently equipped, and staying here includes free access for multiple visits to the castle and its gardens. The estate management team were very helpful with ideas for our stay on Skye. Each evening we took a short walk to the promontory and saw seals bobbing in the bay at sunset. We also booked the boat trip to see more seals around the loch.
