Staff were very friendly and helpful, I had to take my dog out at 2am & 5am as he wouldn't settle and the night porter let me out and waited on me while I wandered the grounds. Breakfast was delicious.

The accommodation was pretty much as expected. The room was cheap and had all of your basics (linen, towels, clean space, TV, shower, desk, mirror, etc.). The location is fine as it depends where you're wanting to go around the area and the drinks in the pub downstairs are cheap enough! The person who gave us the keys was friendly and we received a quick response via Booking.com. The room we had was a decent size and we appreciated it being dog friendly with no extra charges for the dogs. There were tea and coffee sachets alongside a kettle and little milk packets for those interested in that. The free wi-fi was also fine. The bed linen and towels were soft and clean with what looked to be extra bedding if needed inside the wardrobe. Plug sockets at the side of both beds were useful.
